Purple Poison + Eli (Flowering Only)

francisgerald So this is day 1. All three plants are clones from previously grown feminised seeds. They vegetated for four weeks under the same panel, set to vegetative mode (6x20w COB) on 18/6. The Purple Poisons have huge fan leaves, bigger than a hand, so I removed some of them today to expose the bud sites. Eli stretches like hell, so I pinched it literally a dozen times throughout vegging to keep it short and bushy. They look great, all are planted in one gallon pots, but one of them is in an Air-Pot the sane volume. The roots are massive and this one is clearly more bushy and has a thicker stem. Things are looking good, although humidity is a bit too high. Let’s ser how they’ll perform during the next nine weeks!

francisgerald All is well. I removed a bunch of fan leaves and all tiny bud sites and branches at the bottom and airflow is much better now, along with light penetration.

francisgerald They stretched a bit, I broke their stems to make them a bit flatter, and all is going well.

francisgerald Stretching phase is over. I’ve removed more leaves, air is flowing all right and they are reacting well to 2,000 ppm :)) Eli is lagging behind, perhaps due to its Sativa origins. It’s looking like an 11 or 12-weeker, but I’ve got the virtue of patience!

francisgerald They’ve started to smell a bit and seem to be doing great! Eli is skinny, apparently, but the smell is great! The two PPs smell like cheddar/papaya, they’re pretty weird, but I’m liking them!

francisgerald I had been overfeeding these ladies for weeks without much consequence, but this week Eli was burned. The tips of many leaves got crispy and brownish, and bud growth has come to a halt. I’ve been feeding her plain water (at 6.2) for five days now. The two PPs are doing fine, with much bigger tops.

francisgerald Even Eli’s best buds are tiny, such a disappointment, although they smell all right. Fortunately, on the other hand, Purple Poison is dense as hell! I’ll start flushing them this weekend and harvest in two weeks.
