Two cotton swabs and 2 days later I can see it cracked open already 😆 waiting for that taproot then straight in to 8l. Fabric pot with compost and straw at the bottom. Waiting still for perlite to arrive 🤔
Good luck with it! Let me know if you want any tips from my experience. I can tell you I made some mistakes but learnt alot about the NL from SeedStockers. There are things she likes and things she don't ;).
@Grazynka, where to begin lol. I grow in coco perlite so a little different to you but there are still things I can help with I think. All, from my experience. 1st I noticed you have had a few issues with germination. I've had 100% success with the following: heat mat at 30 degrees Celsius is a must. Scuff seed by making a tube with 200+ grit sandpaper around a pen and sticky tape to make cylinder. Put Ur seed in one end block ends with fingers gently ish shake 10 times. Seed into 30C water for 3 hours then between moist paper towel in a closed container make sure seed is nice and snug between the moist paper and lid closed to retain humidity. Again vital the container is on Ur heat mat at close to 30C (deg Celsius). Can almost guarantee your seed will pop in 24 hours every time. Careful plant straight into your final pot. Ive had much better luck doing this then trying to transplant up like I did with my 1st grow which is my only diary and which I have since learnt was definitely stunted relative to my second attempt which is/was a monster! With nutes it's hard for me to help because I don't know what's in Ur soil and if u plan to top dress. I can tell u I had issues with calcium and magnesium deficiency and nutrient build up. I've switched to high frequency fertigation I.e. greater water intervals less per water but more often and water to run off so I can measure EC and pH. Can expand on nutrients and water in another message if you like? The NL autos go through massive growth spurt around week 3 pre flowering to flowering if your doing things right if she doesn't have a spurt by week 4 most likely she'll be stunted. The NL are pretty heat tolerant but wouldn't push above 30C which I had issues with as it was summer and hot where I'm from during 1st grow. LST is everything! I never top but u can really bend and train the crap out of these girls once they are about 2.5 to 3 weeks old! I can almost achieve SCROG just using ties and bulldog clips! Plenty of fan breeze, through foliage, good lighting but not too close, I have burnt her tips before but not end of the world. Trim low fan leaves but I've never lollipoped. That's all I can think of 4 now will add another message if I think of anything 🤔
