02/01 - Soaked all 14 seeds in a cup of tap water and waited 24 hours.
02/02 - The seeds all sunk to the bottom and moved to the wet paper towel.
02/03 - Started to see tap roots begin to push out of most but decided to give it an extra day.
02/05 - Whoops real life happened and I let them go a bit too long in their paper towel. They have all successfully germinated, with most completely leaving the shell. Sowed all the seeds in their corresponding started pot. Gave them each 15ml of my normal starting feed at 1/4 strength and misted the top coco level with the premixed feed. Turned on the light and have them sitting around 150 ppfd.
02/06 - Continued to heavily mist the tops of each pot with their feed. Poured about 1/2 gallon worth into the trays to allow the bottom of the pots to wick up the feed for further root development. They soaked it all up and nothing was left in the tray to empty
02/07 - Picked up some Rhizotonic from the local hydroponics store and mixed up a new gallon of water. Gave each pot a good soak with 5 fl oz of Canna A+B and Rhizotonic. This will hold them over for a day or two in this pot size. Bumped up the lighting to 260 ppfd. Germinated two Strawberry Milk and Qookies from Night Owl Seeds. They'll be moved to a separate tent in two weeks.
02/08 - Bumped the lighting up to 325 ppfd. Mixing up more nutes for the next feed.
02/09 - Got the first seedling pushing it's 2nd set of leaves - what is now dubbed YS#5.
02/10 - Added plant tags for better documentation. Gave every pot 5 fl oz of nutes pH'd to 5.8. Measured runoff - 323ppm & 5.6 pH. YS#1-10 collectively got 50 fl oz and I netted back 48 fl oz of runoff so it looks like I'll hold off on watering for a few days. YS#11-14 and SMQ got 30 fl oz of nutes and I netted back 25 fl oz. It looks like these 6 are drinking a bit more but I'm still going to hold off on feeding so they all get a drink at the same time.
02/11 - Some are getting top heavy. I do have a fan going on the inside but maybe I'll need to reposition it to create a little more movement. Added some garden ties as support.
02/12 - Mixing up new feed at 1/2 strength what they get in veg. They have been getting 1/4 strength so far and they look a bit hungry. Adding in 3ml of calmag into the feed as well.
02/13 - Some of the seedlings are starting to show hunger signs for calcium. Gave them all a watering of 5 fl oz of nutes at their new dosage. Almost all seedlings have their 2nd set of leaves developing.
02/14 - The calcium deficiency is showing up on seedlings #1, 6, 8, and 13. All the new growth looks super healthy so I believe yesterday's feed took care of what they needed.
02/15 - Swapped to 18/6 light cycle.
02/16 - Calcium deficiency is showing a bit more. First grow using RO water for everything so it's taking me a bit to dial in the correct amount of calmag to feed them.
02/17 - New growth looks healthy while older growth continue to show calcium rust spots. Will be mixing up a new batch of feed tomorrow morning.
02/18 - Started mixing up a new batch of feed and letting the calmag rest for 24 hours before continuing.
02/19 - Gave each 10 fl oz of feed still at half strength. Next feed I'll be swapping to full strength.
02/20 - I was planning on waiting for sex test results before transplanting into 1gal pots but I might need to do that today. YS#12 is looking a bit sad. Getting them into bigger pots will help the roots explode into the new space. I'm hoping the sex test kits will be delivered tomorrow as they're down the street at the local distribution center.
02/21 - Fed this morning their first dose of full strength nutes. Talked with a few others in the grow off and they suggested bumping up calmag to 3-5ml/gal. Grabbed another gallon of RO water and put in the full 5ml recommendation. Sex test kits are being delivered some time today. Excited to get my clippings taken. Will post another update with pictures once they're in the mail!
02/22 - I lowered my light and reduced the percentage to keep the same ppfd. It ended up dropping average temps in the tent from 80 to 72. This will help reduce the temp swing at night. Dropped off the sex tests in the mail today. Didn't take any pictures of the process as I didn't want to contaminate anything. Tests were done through Rimrock Analytical where the vials they send punches a hole in the leaf. I started doing that before moving towards pushing the tip of the leaf into the vial before closing the lid to tear it away. Fingers crossed I get some results quickly! Finishing up mixing the next feed. Will let it sit over night and pH in the morning. Last feed was right at 5.8 which was very nice but I added 3ml more of calmag this feed which I'm guessing will change the overall pH.
02/23 - Checked pH this morning and it was 5.8 right on the dot again!! Very nice to know moving forward with mixing nutes. Opened the tent this morning and every single plant in this tent was praying super hard. Watered them all to runoff and spread them back out after draining. Getting the 1gal pots ready for transplant. I'll need to get more RO water for the increase in feed I'll need to make.
02/24 - Picked up 6 more gallons of RO water to start saturating these transplant pots. Letting them get up to room temp and then giving each of them 5ml of calmag for a 24h period before continuing mixing in nutes. Topped all plants except for YS#14. That one is just a tad slow but it has very tight internodal stacking so far.
02/25 - Transplanted all plants even though the sex tests are being delivered anytime now.. currently out for delivery now! OHH MYY these roots are something else! The few that are slightly behind had less roots which makes 100% sense. Sprinkled 1 Tbsp around the edges of the open void that was formed with the extra started pot when filling the pots up. Currently mixing up 4 gal of feed to feed them all today and get the new root zone the same EC.
02/26 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each 1gal pot. This many pots is going to take a lot of RO water to keep wet.
02/27 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each 1gal pot. It was getting too crowded in this tent. Gave them all a heavy defol to open up light to all the new lower growth nodes.
02/28 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each 1gal pot. All perked up the day after. This strain can take what ever you throw at it!!
03/01 - Mixing up the next batch of feed. Plants are looking like they need even more cal mag. Upping it to 7ml/gal with RO water.
03/02 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each.
03/03 - Just let the plants do their thing. Don't need to go in the tent every day.
03/04 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each.
03/05 - Today is check in day for the grow off!
03/06 - Watered 20 fl oz of feed to each.
03/07 - Woke up to the whole tent praying! You love to see it. Did some LST work on YS#5 to start promoting horizontal growth. Opening up all those new nodes to direct access to light. It's going to explode before the next week is up.

04/18 - Hit her with her last heavy defol on day 20 of flower. Installed the 2nd net and leveled out the canopy again. Can't wait for the sea of bud to fill this tent!
