10/04/2023 Day 54 I've been adding Ripen in the mix lowering Flora Bloom. Started at 1.4 EC. Added 4 to 5L of water to refill the tank lowering progressively the EC, today 1.2 EC. Will follow the strategy till Thursday, then will empty the tank, and fill back with 12L and only Ripen, for 1 week. Then 3 days with GHE Kleen.

😮Hi, introducing the seeds in the rock-wood cubes, one escaped and felt inside the clay. I did not find it... BUT!!, it germinated and now reached out through a small hole of the top tap. Do I let them close? Should I take the risk to lift the tap and move it, change the place?

At this point, I'd give it a try ! They look robust... Best case scenario, you end up with 1 more seedling ! And it's early enough to start over if you fail...

Am I still in time to begin with Ripen, 2 weeks + 1 @water to clean up and then harvest? Or should I wait a week more?

There is no evidence of any male parts. You’re probably 3, maybe 4 weeks out depending on the specific plant. One looks closer than the other.

Also wonder if I have to get the lights on after that, for a couple of hours, or so, and then cut them. I have read it's at this time plants produces more terpenes, is that right?

6 Key Points From Bugbee’s Interview on Pre-Harvest Lighting: Photosynthetic energy is used to synthesize sugars that are used to make terpenes and trichomes. No lights = no new energy = plants are not synthesizing new terpenes and trichomes in the dark. During dark periods, plants consume accumulated sugars from the light periods. Cold temperatures reduce the volatility of terpenes, which preserves existing terpenes (but slows down synthesis of new terpenes). Could be the decrease in temperatures, not the lack of light, that is having the observed effect on overall quality of harvest. The opposite extreme of 48 hours of darkness would be 48 hours of lights on but at a reduced temperature to protect/preserve existing compounds. Its something that makes us feel good but has no real use in practicality. https://www,youtube,com/watch?v=R9yj_sVm2QA All periods or dots " .
