Soil made of coco, peat, perlite, rice hulls, bio-char, diatomaceous hearth, azomite ,neem ,malted barley and dry amendments all mixed a part from the cubit liter of soil when the plant thrive for the first days.
watering manually with only RO water + Calg + epsom salt + aloe or enzymes. no silica this run. but diatom.. earth and rice hulls are full of silica .. all organic.
hope to turn on the autopot system soon . leaves are not very big but nodes and vertical growth of main stalk and branches are nice for 2 weeks from seed.
seen some white hairs that concerned me. hope she will not flower soon ..is way too early . normally i see flower forming for real at day 33-34 for good yields. I can't judge how much pre-flower-showing-sex phase can last..
have you guys fun
always try learning from my mistakes i did them all
seems weird to me ..she is starting flowering at day 17 ..first white hairs at day 14 .. gave her only RO water with CalMg 220ppm and epsom salt 150ppm. 370 ppm total. maybe is the strain or my lamp with too low blue color in it. we will see how her sister next to her will go. if she will pre-flower so early too , I think the lamp plays a role in it. by the way she is growing wonderfully in freedom , no training at all .
I think soil/coco can be loaded wwith too much nitrogen for her, many leaves in the buds, but I saw this trait in other Galaxy Brain online journals :) I lowered , almost eliminated CalMag due to its nitrogen content. and made a big switch to tap watered instead of RO. Tap here is 280 ppm , almost nice to cut with some RO and calcium and epsom salt. no nutrients till now. only dry amendments in the soil/coco at the start. never top dressed. Only bacterias, and water feeding. Smell is amazing and limy pungent. Still afraid of too much nitrogen. This lady start flowering sooo early that maybe nitrogen was high, also my fault ..I added some Neem pellet (very few) buried in the soil at the very start , for fighting gnats larvae. those pellets added nitrogen :(( my big mistake.
giving her RO only water for another five days than I will chop her with love and care :) . she started flowering 5 days earlier than 'normal' so she is ready. at 70 days I will chop top big colas , maybe I will leave lower buds for 3-4 more days.
68 days : time to chop the main cola and raise plant closer (25 cm) to lights for another 5-7 days maximum. I believe the main cola got better light power than the rest of the plant. But I could not raise it too much because I bottom feed autopot, also she has a big taller sister beside her ;))
This plant was short and bushy , buds tends to be far less omogeneous in maturation /ripening between eachother compared to an high branchy tall plant where light diffusion /penetration and air movement are better. I don't train or LST or top or defoliating . nothing. just natural plant shape.
aromas and colours are amazing.. we will see how she will taste . this was a 100% water (tap/RO 300-350 ppm calcium magnesium) only run from the bottom wicking autopot system with a timer. no top feed ever. some top waterings with water + bacterias, aloe, coco water, enzymes. I also flushed her 2 weeks before harvest with 25 liter pure water, wich I maybe regret :)) I think also that a little calcium and magnesium is better to feed till the end no need to be RO water as I used the last 10 days.
Good yield not incredible in weight because flowers were not so dense , for my fault, light was far due to her sister growing next to her 60 cm taller :))
little less than 100 grams dry weight.
