I dont enjoy mainlining as much as I do bonsai style I tie down tops and let the side branches grow real tall but only after a week of deformation and regrowth... to expose the small leaves and let in as much light as possible they start looking thin small leaves and naked but it allows for better LST and then topping comes in next to promote double tops for each side branch as well as the main top the goal here is to allow optimum growth for each small side and main top to be strong enough to handle extreme topping I top every branch to make double branches the results are always very interesting keep watching

Always keeping an eye on side branches growing and ensuring they are healthy enough to re top and I keep defoliating very small ammounts but ensuring they all have lots of light and they can be happy enough to top is key.... I keep main top bent down and use this method to get sides bigger.... then I tie them down and when they are safe and healthy I top them as well

Well everyone it's time I added the scrogs here are my square home made scrogs they work well because I still need to remove the plants from the buckets weekly to change their nutrient solution so I needed a net that is always in place with the plants I added some large poles that are threaded and some bolts to gold then in place then I added the square nets already threaded onto the poles with little brackets that have holes to allow the poles to go through hold them in place and I can re adjust at anytime.... I find this works the best last grow I did critical orange punch and the one with the scrog out performed the one without so they do absolutely work better after I let them settle and adapt to their new net home and change their water solution ill let them bush out more and I take clones and start organizing the tops that I want to keep and use the small ones for clones I also defoliate and lst the tops tuck them under the strings to fill up net and even out canopy the tallest tops stretch to the empty spaces and I allow the sides to grow out to become other tops this works great I love scrogs

Clones I took to preserve the phenos for next grow and to always have some purple around maybe for this summers outdoor garden.... and to gift to friends for their gardens ... i am finally having them organized they are developing well and after a healthy lollipopping each plant has responded exponentially better to this de foliation they are now ready for flower I have waited a week and a half to let them grow up above the net and I have darted 12 .. 12 for the next phase each plant has more than 20 tops for sure and can't wait to see how she responds to her new nutrient regime and light schedule so far so good stoked to see these purple buds

Lots of hairs this week had a bit of an airline issue on the airstones I fixed it and the leaves stopped curling downward so they are looking alot better did my usual weekly feeding 6 oz of each remo nutes and ph water 5.8 added as well cannazyne for the breakdown of old dead roots helps keep things clean and productive lots of hairs and new top development through each plant right plant started getting some yellow leaves I defoliated then and will continue to monitor for any issues but also going to re defoliate and take out those bottom useless larfe nugs

Great week at least for the first plant plant on the right side of the tent is no Bueno it had a massive change in color and turned yellow replaced the reservoir and currently only using PH water no food and added an airstone with some mycorrhizae powder to help bring back the life in the root zone roots were looking sad ... other than that it's 50 / 50 plantbon left has come vack and is loving life mad nuggets forming and although lst takes alot of time it's 100% worth it I always get top of the nug colas tight compact nugs that hit hard super flavored and full of terps and molecular goodness I will still pull a harvest from the sick plant but it won't be as efficient.... I do find though the stress on the plantvhas created a heavier coating on the nugs forming the crystal or trichome production is full power like they are mad shiny and kinda blue so even if I use her for just keif and bubble hash I'm still stoked

This week's been real fun seeing alot of purple coming in slow leaves are turning very purple I ditched the blurple light... it was good for supplemental lighting bit it started burning the tops a bit ... however I have 2 of the exact same plants strains are same ingrow both exact same and one is a green pheno looks scraggly and the left one is the ourple phenonwhich looks absolutely stunning they are like day and night crazy cause I have done nothing different with each and the ammount of issues from right to left plant have been drastic . Lots of purple on the tip calyxes' ! And the bottom of the nugs are very sticky smelly and very very fruity I cannot wait to chose this lady, trim cure going to be so much fun...
