Ice Eyes Auto is an indica dominant strain by Hypno Seeds. The producer guarantees a harvest after 9 weeks of flowering and that this is a high-yielding variety.
I will grow both indoors and outdoors to give the plants the maximum amount of light, whithout additional costs.
I had several mistakes when growing previous plants. In this case, I planted the seeds in Jiffy and then directly into the soil in their final pot. I moistened the substrate a little. The seed sprouted after about 72 hours. That's all for now.
I missed one week because there wasn't much to tell. On the third week, the seedling began to settle in its pot. Added some earth to deepen the stem. I hope that this autoflower will finally give me a good harvest, after all my failures.
Everything is fine at 4 weeks. The plant settles in a pot, watering is small, the amount of moisture is sufficient for the roots to grow. The plant looks fragile, I think it will get stronger when I add nutrients and increase watering. Sometimes I put a plant on the window to save electric lighting. The problem with auto is that if you make a mistake , the flowering will slow down. I hope this doesn't happen.
At week 5, the preflora began. It seems strange such an early flowering of auto strains. Until this day, I was afraid of excess moisture - my mistake in previous growings. Therefore, watering was small. The plant was growing weak, so I added nutrients this week.
Nothing new. The plant does not grow vigorously. A couple of weeks ago, it froze a little and has not recovered from it until now. I'm going to continue stimulating growth and see if I can succeed in this.
The appearance of the plant is healthy. Water consumption is still low, I'm doing top dressing. I made a mistake in the concentration of fertilizers a little and the plant did not like it. In the next watering I will help her to dissolve fertilizers.
I've run out of patience. The plant did not react to fertilizers and remained small and fragile. It consumed almost no water. The buds were empty. Rating unsatisfactory
I skipped a few weeks because there was really nothing to show.
Summary:
On the week 9, expectations are not being met. The plant continues to grow slowly. Water consumption has increased, I needed to clear the substrate of nutrients in order for the roots to grow better.
Then 11 weeks have passed since the seeding of the plant. There was no special growth, the plant did not respond to nutrient watering. It looked like the root system wasn't developed enough. Maybe it's the substrate. Although in my other crops this substrate works very well.
I was fighting pests. They appeared very unexpectedly and looked like flies from the substrate. I sprayed the plant with neem oil. It was isolated from my other healthy plants.
On week 12 nothing special was happening (still!). The plant was 91 days old, and it has petrified in its development. The buds were not dense. I've decided to wait until the plant has absorbed all the water from watering, and then finish it.
And here we are at harvest.
I do not recommend this strain.
