This grow is my first grow and is being uploaded months after harvest. So everything is based off how I remember and some parts may be missing.
Important information: Bagseed from a Colorado grower but the genetics are from bodhi seeds, my light was severely underpowered, I barely did any LST as I was afraid to break the plant, one of my branches broke off at one point, I fed a bit too much. So all that considered this was not an ideal grow by any means, but I am still very happy how it turned out in the end.
The seed sprouted out of the soil on June 8th, I consider vegatation to have started on June 15th.

Lol the towel to keep light in probably didn't do much in the end but funny to see my brain processes of going through my first grow with just a few months of online research
I wanted to transition it to outdoors but I eventually decided to pimp out the closet instead, so thats why the plant is randomly outside in some pics.
It really started to stretch vertically about at this time, which I should've corrected way quicker than I did.
Was out of town this week so my girl was taking care of my plant, these are her pics so not as many as usual.
It really started to take off with growth, the branches just started growing like crazy. Actually at this time it was under an only 45 watt light, insane it made it this good this far (so far).
I chopped off WAYYY too much lower branch and budsites, honestly embarassing but want others to learn from me being dumb! I even accidently cut off one of the lower branches completely. But just wait, the flower stretch really brings so much life back.
Stretch is going crazy by now, buds starting to grow a little and get some weight as well as trichs starting to appear. Since the light was inadequate I have tied up a lot of the branches to the light to prevent and bending.
This is where the buds really took off, next few weeks they bulked, but they made their most growth within this week. I am a photographer so threw in some of the nicer pics I took of the plant!
Don't mind the hair here and there, wasn't easy keeping em out with 3 cats lol.
I am so happy how the buds ended up, very surprisingly bulky for the inadequate light. Took a long ass time to finish, held clear trichs all through the past 3 week before this. Chopped with about 20% amber, 60% cludy and 20% clear.
Being my first grow ever (and a bagseed), this grow was a BREEZE. Inadaquate conditions its whole life and still never showed any issues besides my fault of overfeeding.
Smell: MAJOR notes of pine, just like the buds the seed came from. Smells like walking through a dense forest after a rain storm. But it also has a nice sweet berry to it, with some general funkiness that comes out in the grind.
Taste: Sweet sweet pine, the berry comes out more in the taste and considering my dry was a poor job, it has a nice little taste to it. Towards the end of a joint it gets quite funky, that resin that builds up hits hard at the end.
High: A nice middle ground "hybrid". This is a strain that can be enjoyed anytime of the day, I love to smoke a joint of it any time before I go grocery shopping, makes it much more enjoyable lol. It can be pretty cerebral without bringing any anxiety or paranoia. But it also is relaxing, without being debilitating. So basically I get both sativa and indica effects, which the trichomes really helped me nail come harvest.
7/10 smoke and high (my fault due to dry), 10/10 grow.
The dry was not ideal, chopped into individual brances to dry. Main problem is, I dried in my closet which the enviornment wasn't really able to be controlled that well. I was getting maybe around 40-45% humidity and the temp was lower, around 55 or so if I remember correctly. So my dry was a bit too quick and as a result of that, the outside of the buds developed a minor hay smell. The good thing is, once cured, it did still have a small hay smell but when broken up, the inside smelled real nice like it did during flower. Sweet berries and strong notes of pine with a kick of funk at the end.
Took it to cure for around 4-5 weeks, cured up in the end to around 55-56% humidity in the jars. Lower than Ideal but not crunchy at all.
I kinda fucked up the trim, it doesn't look ugly per se but I handled them too much I think during trimming. Lost a lot of the outer frost, but lots of trichs once a nug is broken open!
@Oozle, Hey dude! just finished getting the rest of the pics up. Thank you for that info about his 4/20 deal I will def be grabbing some packs.
I will say, amazing grow overall for being mainly a learning experiance for me, so much adaptation went in throughout the grow. Yet she was resilient as fuck. I don't know much about wookie and GSC in a grow, but after reading lots about each while growing I would say the wookie really took over in most parts with a big cookie look to it before the purpling came in. I am glad it wasn't a basic cookie cross in the end!
Thank you so much for reading and showing love dude! Almost to week 3 of flower on my current grow right now, 2 photo fems of Blueberry Cheese from Barney's. One of them has been annoying its whole life but I can't wait to see the outcome. tried scrog this time around too and the plants love it.
@710_Jeremy, Sounds like it turned out to be an excellent grow overall. I'm excited to check in later and see the finished product. I don't think I've grown a Wookie cross yet.
I totally agree with you on the Bodhi love. If you wait until 4/20 sales and you can get buy 1 get 1 40-45$ packs plus more freebies then most people will ever grow.
@Oozle, Amazing breeder, this was a bag seed and finished strongly even in very not ideal conditions. I am going to be buying some packs from him to run again for sure. Love how affordable the seeds are for the quality. This is an old grow that I am now just uploading, I should have the rest of the weeks up today! She got some nice purple and even a bit of pink in her at the end.
Congrats on your first harvest. that bud looks extremely frosty. good shit man.
I try to time my grows and use a tent to dry.. Anytime I do the closet dry it never turns out as well. Too hard for me to keep my humidity in the proper range.
