Soaked seeds overnight in de-chlorinated water, then for about 48 hours in a damp paper towel. All had radicle emergence, and one of the GSC had cotyledons and had already dropped the seed coat. I put them all in soaked rockwool cubes surrounded by hydroton, each in a 3.5gal DWC bucket with an airstone. Light set at 50% at ~20 inches.

Very early veg, not much to say. They're growing, got some true leaves, seeing a little bit of meristem action. It's about what you'd expect from week one of veg! Realized I hadn't checked the EC until after adding the BioRoot & Hydroguard, so the reading is skewing really high.

Two of the seedlings were showing some really marked chlorosis. A little odd, because all 4 buckets should be the same mix, but... I checked the EC of all the buckets and they were consistent. pH was a smidge high on those two, so I dropped it from about 5.8 to closer to 5.4/5.5. After a couple of days, I decided to just remix those two buckets. I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to fiddle with a nutrient deficiency with autos. After a couple of days the meristem areas were coming in green again, so hopefully it's fixed! The other two plants looked fine. Edit: Immediately after writing this entry, I was like "Oooh, it's nute burn." so I dumped 1/2 of the reservoirs and replaced with filtered water to get the ppm down. pHed it to 5.5 again, and we'll see!

Oopsy doopsy, I done muffed it up again! Dealing with the nute burn. I dumped half of the nutrient solution and replaced it with filtered water. The front two plants look like they're putting out some new green growth, and the back two have some tip burn, but the new growth looks good. Hopefully they'll bounce back quickly and this won't be a huge setback! I swear, my next grow will be one where all the seedlings look all cute and healthy. I'm done having to correct and save them!

I guess this is a recovery week. I was hoping to be switching nutes to bloom about now, but I'm just waiting for the new growth to look decent and slowly get the ppm up. We'll get there.

The girls were looking both a little chlorotic and a little nute-burny, so I added a smidge of MaxiBloom to finish out the week before just resetting everything. New growth is looking... better? Definitely still behind where I'd like, and I'm afraid the two worst are not going to catch up. We'll see! Cleaned and refilled the buckets with new nutes at the end of the week (will show in next week's update.)

Dumped the buckets and reset. Went straight maxigrow with some hydroguard. I figured the water is hard enough that I'd skip the CalMag to save some PPM since the plants were getting tip burn AND looking chlorotic. At the end of the week, I checked and the new growth looks better (I've said that before, I know). I gave them a foliar spray of dilute FoxFarm GrowBig to hopefully address lingering deficiencies while also taking it easy on the roots. The two smallest... I dunno man, they might just be goners. I've already got the nutrients mixed and the space where the buckets are would just be empty otherwise, so I'll let them ride it out until they're definitely dead, but I think the damage may have been done.

Foliar spray of Grow Big really seems to help. Two look like real plants. One is starting to sprout some hairs. New growth is looking pretty solid on all but the tiniest one. Gonna let it coast this week and add a little KoolBloom.

Plants are definitely looking a lot better now. The smaller two are still smaller, but they actually look healthy now and seem to be catching up. I'm still using the FoxFarm GrowBig as a foliar only since the one plant still shows a little bit of chlorosis, but I'm weaning off of that since I don't want to be spraying anything on the buds. I switched to MaxiBloom and Liquid KoolBloom and I'm tapering the ppm up to 700 until the final taper. I know the chlorotic one could probably use a little more N, but after all the nute burning before, I'm definitely taking it slow on any ppm increases.

This week I was keeping nutes around 550ppm, but starting to see some nute issues showing up and the two larger plants were just sucking them up. At the end of the week (so it'll be on next week's update) I dumped the reservoirs and refilled them. Did ~1tsp MaxiBloom per gal and 2ml KoolBloom, adjusted ppm to about 615. About an hour later, I checked on them and the smallest one was just absolutely sacked. I dumped some of that res and watered it back down to 500 and in about an hour it was bouncing back. I'm guessing the GSC cultivar is just really sensitive to nutrient concentration? This adjustment didn't even seem like that much, but that plant is lagging a little behind the others, so I don't know if it just wasn't ready? Hopefully it keeps bouncing back.

Just trying to hold steady after a rough week. Keeping water topped off and trying to keep the PPM on target. I hadn't anticipated how awkward it would be fully switching out the reservoirs once the plants got bigger, so I might have to figure something out. Considering trying to empty them with a shop vac?

The bigger plants are looking a little rough, but the buds are filling out. Not sure if I'm just not keeping up fast enough on topping off the nutes and the PPM is dropping? The two smaller ones are looking pretty good despite the early (and recent) setbacks. Getting the dry Kool Bloom ready for the biguns!

hang in there. For the most part, these are pretty forgiving plants. After all, it is a weed. I screw up my pH all the time, so I feel ya. Peace and may your GSC develop some StinkyBudz!
