@Ju_Bps, both ways, id foliar spray it with some yucca in veg then switch to a root drench after 2nd week flower. The aloe you want to use is aloe barbadensis, this is the one that if processed correctly you can drink. This is the one that they use in all the asian aloe vera drinks. you will need 75ml to 150ml raw aloe vera gel per 5 gal water. Works well on seedlings too. use once a month.
