Second grow time ☺️.
I'm trying out fast buds because their genetics seem trustworthy and hardy so I can make some mistakes alone the way and not pay for it like my last grow.
My plan is to germ and start veg in a small pot of basic substrate soil then transplant into BioBizz All-Mix because I know autos can be sensitive to all mix at first.
Lighting is something I'm also going to play close attention to because that is where I messed up the most when growing previously.
Lastly, I know my set up, isn't really a set up but I'm doing this more for fun and to get some medication out it it at the end.
Happy growing ☺️
Week 1 after pop,
Really surprised with the growth rate fast buds really do mean FAST buds 🤣. I'm going to keep them in the small pots untill the end of week two because root development seems to be slow.
Nice green leafs. The biggest first set of true leafs I have ever grown.
Any tips would be much appreciated 😊.
Hi,
I'm a new grower and this is my second grow. I'm being really careful with watering but I have this issue where my leafs are starting to crinkle and fold, I want to solve this now so it don't effect the plant later on. Does any one have an ideas?
I'm a new grower so naturally I freak at every turn.
But over all I'm really impressed with the growth of fast buds.
I moved into a bigger pot because the roots were already out growing the first pot.
Slowing introducing all mix as I know autos can be sensitive to that substrate.
Any tips are welcome 😁
I had a problem with the light being too close to the top of my plants causing heat stress. I spotted it quickly and raised the lights.
My plan with LST is to try and get the plant to grow in a circle around the edge of the plant before flower.
All and all good week with good growth ☺️
This week was good, I'm a serious over waterer so I have to keep an eye on that, she's showing some signs of light stress but I'm gonna leave her another week because it could just be the initial stress of going into flower.
I changed my LST method to just pulling down the bigger branches, my old task of circling it round the pot just stressed her out a bit to much.
I am also going to start to introduce some flowering nudes this coming week.
Any tips appreciated.
Not sure you are getting the desired effect of lst where the side colas get bigger by tying down the main cola but the circular shape is fun. Also, light sweet spot seems to be 18 inches. Anything closer and the plant can be smaller and bushier. Going to be a small plant in a half gallon container already. Suggest to untie her and put the light at 20ish inches to see some vertical growth.
After getting some feedback from the grow questions I have seen a lot of positive growth and a lot less stress. SO, THANK YOU GUYS.
introducing more flowering nutes now.
Any tips appreciated
Watered every other day. Nutes every other feeding .
This week was good, increased light intensity.
Upped nutes for bloom as I'm seeing barely any trichome development.
Slight over watering mid weed but bounced back.
Strong week
Didn't over water so I'm getting to grips with that.
Upped bio bloom to try and boost growth, being careful not to over feed.
Lighting was also increased in intensity, fan leaves are not the biggest fan but buds seem to be developing nicely.
Onto next week
Good week, the major thing I'm stressing about is slow growth due to temperature I'm hoping it's not going to impact to greatly.
Didn't over water this week I actually underwatered due to a really hot day drying the soil out.
Nutes are gonna stay the same this following week with more TOPMAX with feedings.
Any feedback or tips appreciated 🙂
This week was good for growth.
I kept a close eye on temp and she does seem to be swelling nicely. I'm gonna give her another week to 2 weeks because it's a small plant.
Any tips appreciated 🙂
I flushed this week because I wanted to harvest but gonna give her a few more days maybe a week.
Nutes are good and weather is nice at the moment so room tem is perfect.
Humility is 30%
Trics are looking good, what do you guys think?
The strain your growing is indica leaning a bit but the breeder describes it as a balanced mix.
55% Indica / 45% Sativa
I don't think you'd be disappointed if you chopped it right now or waited a week.
Others who have grown it has harvested in the 12th week from germination. and some left it even longer till the 14th week.
Given you don't want any amber it would be fine to do it now or in a week IMO.
Good Luck!
Chopped and hanging.
A little to early to think but trics look good the buds are just a little airy.
Currently on 5th day of drying gonna go for a week and then jar them.
Looks tasty 🤤 ! I feel like you have less chances of seeing powdery mildew before 14 weeks and the earlier you harvest the less sleepy the smoke becomes. It's a win win situation between 11-13 weeks.
Looks great 👍. Just battled some unhappy plants due to the heater not being on. If your temperatures are below ~26c you might see stress or slow growth due to them being cold.
Sending you green blessings as you tend to your garden. May each day bring new growth, a deeper connection to nature, and a sense of fulfillment in your cultivation efforts. 🌳
