From seed sprout.....
Calmag 200ppm . A and b canna 1.9ml per liter
Dilute mix to 300ppm and slowly dilute less until day 14 which will be 700ppm full veg strength without need for dilution.
Ph 5.7-6.0
Buffered coco with 800ppm canna calmag ph 4.8 . Canna calmag rises by itself in ph over 24hrs so no need to ph up or down or the buffer won't be true .

Light intensity was 150 -200 umols first week from sprout . Week 2 has been 250 to 275 umols at 18hrs
This week(end of week 2 , start of week 3) I did notice an ever so slight sign of mag def since I was running a bare minimum of calmag . I have increased calmag to 0.5ec of total ec . And I have also dropped the base nutes below the recommendations of the canna coco grow guide for light feeding.
So I went to 1.4ec week 2, which consisted of 0.4ec of calmag and 1.0ec of base nutes , I noticed the beginning of n tox so I caught that fast and reduced to a new schedule of 0.5ec calmag which is an increase in calmag from previous week to nurture the mag def and a drop in base nutrient ec to 0.7ec from 1.0ec . I topped plants day 1 week three this same day and also increased the light from 275umols to an average of 370umols .as you can see they adapted well to the changes and are praying nicely , i will be keepimg an eye on the leaf health to make sure i keep the light intensity at optimal levels this week , no major changes planned this week apart from just keeping a close eye on them and also transplanting possibly tomorrow, after rebuffering the canna coco due to my lack of trust for advertised promises that have let me down in the past . Oh and also I increased the ph from 5.7-5.8 up to 6.0 to assist the plants with uptake of calcium and magnesium. 20 drops of iron chelates per 20L has Ko'd the mild iron def due to ro wat3r and cannas low amounts of micros which caused it . The other micro levels a re fine . But iron......no canna 0.02 iron is not enough iron in ro water. Don't mind me these are just notes to self plus if you read and use canna nutes with ro water , and having trouble with iron , here's your answer .
This week has been the heaviest growth spurt of the cycle so far but the bolt hasn't even come yet so I'm looking forward to some nice large trees from this lot. Nutrients are sitting at 350ppm calimagic and 350ppm a and b canna nutes . I increased the calmag and reduced the a and b this week as I saw an ever so slight hint of mag def so it was time to up the calmag considering I'm using ro water , it is essential to have the calmag in order or you will not get such explosive growth.
