Looking good for my first attempt. Should have used a bigger pot. Next time.

i water with plain ol tap water. I have gallons upon gallons of distilled water. the tap water smells of chlorine a bit, should i be using distilled or just tap after i let it sit for a few days? distilled it basicly pure water but has none of the micro nutrients tap water does.

Plain ol tap water will be just fine...........distilled water can strip elements from your plant via a process known as "reverse osmosis", so I wouldn't use distilled water personally. Aged tap water is your best option if you have the time and inclination.

you'd be better off with distilled or ro, but there's nothing wrong with tap, either. I used quite hard tap water for a few years and lately been using softened water due to ease / convenience and having no problems with that either. Th econcentrations of what is in it are fairly low as far as what would impact the plant... might need a little more magnesium or calcium but won't be a ton difference. I haven't had to change how i dose my plants since ceasing using plain tap. it's been enough days to see if any Mg issues cropped up (those Mg-specific symptoms lag 30 days behind or more and no Ca-def signs since then either).
