Growtechniques are used during her whole lifetime. I tend to start as early as possible. Started with a 18/6 light shedule this time. Decreased it for a half an hour every seventh day. 14/10 at the moment. Tomorrow they get into the tent, under the other LED you may know from my other diaries. AFS: Started from two male Afghan/Spliff Seeds (Afghani Kush IBL). They pollinated a fem. Terminator/LSA (=AF). Out from these (AF) i planted two of the freshly developed seeds. One from them was a healthy male which had a very pleasant citrous scent. The other plant was a female. You can take a look at her in my Diary "Winter Withdrawal". This male pollinated a fem. Sweet Cheese/Sweet Seeds. They become AFS. This plant is the first i grow from these seeds. Hope we get some balls. 👌👽

Hey there! I decided to flip. From 14/10 to 12/12, two days ago. 130W at the moment. Week 9. Transition-Phase. The further procedure concerning the light scheme, depends on the sex of AFS. So far no sign of sex. AFS on the left. Crystal M.E.T.H. on the right. Height: Both around 10cm. Applied equisetum arvense yesterday. If you want more information feel free to ask. Lets Grow!

Hey there! AFS is a female! She´s a bit shy, but thats ok. 👌👽 She looks a lot like the Sweet Cheese/Sweet Seeds. Height: Both around 13cm. Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 130W at the moment. Lowered the LED by 23cm. Until next Week. Lets Grow! Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 130 Height: Both around 17cm Watering them with app. 1.5l every fourth day. Mykorrhiza was applied last tuesday, on day 13 after 12/12. This, like most people show you, is NOT a ScrOG. It is called skeletal support. A ScrOG looks very different. It is important to say this, because people throw a net into their room and call it ScrOG, but it is not that easy. 🙀 This AFS phenotype seems to be a lady with a slow flowering. I am very curious about her further growth. Until next Week. Lets Grow! AFS: Started from two male Afghan/Spliff Seeds (Afghani Kush IBL). They pollinated a fem. Terminator/LSA (=AF). Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 80 Height AFS: 17cm or 6,7inch Height Crystal M.E.T.H.: 19cm or 7,5inch Watering them with app. 1.5l each, every fourth day. AFS shows redness/blackness of her leaves. Crystal M.E.T.H. also, but not so much like AFS. I think this comes from the LED. It is not cold enough at night for a change through temps. Edit1: Maybe it IS cold enough. 😬😶 To prevent possible light-stress, i have increased the distance to the LED. Which is now at 55cm or 21,65inch. And lowered the wattage to ~80W. Until next Week. Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 70 Height AFS: 19cm or 7,5inch Height Crystal M.E.T.H.: 20cm or 7,9inch Watering them with app. 2l each, every fourth day. I use rainwater (PH ~6) without additives most of the time. Equisetum arvense was applied on day 25 after 12/12, last sunday. BioBizz CalMag was applied (1ml on 2.5l) on day 29 after 12/12, yesterday. Crystal M.E.T.H. looks pretty wild. AFS shows the same symptoms, but not so severe. Edit1: One leaf of AFS shows sign of nutrient burn. Few sporadic burned tips. It started this way with Crystal M.E.T.H.. They are both in the exact same substrate. Exact the same treatment their whole life so far. Crystal M.E.T.H. was very picky at the beginning of her life. Little mutant girl. AFS grows withouth any noticeable anomalies. I have reduced the wattage to 70W, and decreased circulating air for about 50%. I suspect PH-fluctuation due cold temps at night. Lets see how they develop the next week. My second theory is that the seramis i unfortunately put into the substrate, has lead to build up of salt. Ive read expanded clay accumulates them. 😖 Until then. Lets Grow! You can use expanded clay as drainage and as mulch too without any problems, so it would suprise me if seramis would be a problem in your soil. Your plant looks like she was in autumn, so the could temps at night could be the problem. Check your PH level of your drain to verify if there is an PH lock or not

Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 70 Height AFS: Not measured this week Height Crystal M.E.T.H.: Not measured this week Watering them with app. 2l each, every fourth day. I use rainwater (pH ~6). I found what seemed to be the culprit of their (especially Crystal M.E.T.H.´s) problems. Surprise, it was me. 🙀 In assumption soil dont need drain, i watered without. I think this leads to the build up of salts in the lower section. As i water now with drain (about 10%-20%) they slowly getting better over the last week. Also added a thin layer of fresh soil beforehand. Until then. Lets Grow! AFS: Started from two male Afghan/Spliff Seeds (Afghani Kush IBL). They pollinated a fem. Terminator/LSA (=AF). Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 85 Watering them with app. 2l each, every fifth day. I use rainwater (pH ~6). They have a strong scent now! 🙀 Even with a filter the room smells like weed. I am sure it is not the QueenMaui in the room next door. Although cannabis can give a strong scent even in VEG. This one is clearly different from that. 😻 As soon as i open the tent, the whole room is saturated with their odor. Who gives of what kind of smell is hard to define. AFS develops seeds! Already asking myself why she kind of creeps her way due flowering. Now it makes sense. Was hoping for this. Recognized a banana (on AFS) soon after the change to 12/12. Think it came from my gradual decrease of the h/light during VEG. In the best case Crystal M.E.T.H. is pregnant now. 😸 Dont have any seeds left from this strain. All of them showed a clear inclination to the critical bilbo side of their parenthood. After 6 1/2 weeks, she is clearly in the harvest window. As well as her appearance and growth behaviour hits the critical bilbo description i found. Will wait at least one more week before i crop her. I want some narcotic buds. 😬 As i have no other satisfying opportunity at this moment. I build myself a dry-chamber. Will test it the next week and see how it works. I think i have to put more power on my exhaust air to keep the system run properly. Only placed the filter to slow down the incoming air. So that the buds dont dry to quickly. The ready to buy pre-air-filter consist mainly of the type of filter i used here, in a closed box. With the difference of the filter beeing placed diagonal. I think this is due to heightened surface? Or maybe it has to do with the airflow. I dont know. We will see. 👍 Until then. Lets Grow! Scheme: VEG9-FLO7/8 12/12 - FLO7/8-FLO? 11/13 Watt: 75 Watering them with app. 2l each, every fifth day. I use rainwater (pH ~6). Changed the scheme to 11/13 last sunday, on day 46 after 12/12. Getting close now! I am unsure about harvest time, because the seeds clearly need another week. Flowers are bulging up. I took one flower a few days ago, to allow the two big ones fattening nicely. I think i watering them a lasty time today. Then harvest in about 7days-10days. As soon as the seeds seem ripe. I dont want to leave them immature, especially on Crystal M.E.T.H.. Edit: Found at least one immature seeds on Crystal M.E.T.H.!👌 Edit2: Decided to give a f and harvest on the following saturday. 🙌 Until then. Lets Grow! Already there! Glad i dont harvest them, because both are swelling nicely. 👍 Watered a last time on past wednesday, seven days before harvest. Until then. Lets Grow! Decided to go for ripe seeds, so they are looking like crazy i know. Last Monday i decresead hours of light from 11 to 10. We will definitly get some overripe bud here, but that's ok. The Queen Maui will be harvested in the harvest window, so i got plenty of potent bud for sure. 👽👌 Harvest the two on coming wednesday, 10Weeks after the change to 12/12. Already get one seeds out from Crystal M.E.T.H.. Beautiful. 😻 Until then. Lets Grow! AFS: Started from two male Afghan/Spliff Seeds (Afghani Kush IBL). They pollinated a fem. Terminator/LSA (=AF).
