Germination
First grow of the year for me! Going with Sweetseeds for the first l, always reliable and had 100% germination once again!! One cheese was slightly slower showing its head but all the others came up within 3 days. 2 days on the windowsill and now into the tent. Temperatures are a bit lower than I would like at the moment but all looking good for the weeks ahead. Will be running 24hr light to try and keep the environment as stable as possible. Follow along!!

Temperatures are a lot lower than I would like but that’s what growing in a shed is like! Root temps are nice and toasty so I’m hoping that compensates for the colder air temp. Forecast is improving now moving forward so let’s hope they pick up. The seedlings are growing so hopefully all good!

Temperatures have plummeted over night again so have been very low. Have managed to keep the roots at a nice 20+ degrees and the day temps are warm. They are a bit slow and I’m certain it’s the temperatures but there is nothing I can do at the moment. Forecast is good moving forward I hope it stays that way!! Day 10 I switched the lights to 18/6

This week has been better in terms of temperature. Giving them the 6 hours of dark has definitely helped development after a slow start. I’m hoping that now they can kick on. No real issues to report. I added some of the royal queen seeds root boost pellets as a top dress so this should give the soil a little bit of a fertiliser. I’m tempted to add a tiny bit of grow this week just to give a little nitrogen and help them along. Day 18 - Topped the Runtz and bent over the biggest of the cheese plants! Light up to 80% Day 20 - all ok, just slow. Night time temps still getting down to 10 degrees but nice during the day. Hopefully they don’t flower yet!!! Adjusted the ties and fed 250ml each ✌️

Things are moving along, albeit slowly!! The low night time temps are really annoying me but nothing I can do really. They are moving along just not as nicely as I would have liked. Day time temps are pretty good. Been feeding with a really weak grow solution just to top up the nitrogen. I guess they will flower soon. Just hoping it’s not too soon so they can get a bit bigger first.

Any ideas as to what might be causing the clawing leaves?

24 hours light is not needed. 20/4 tops or 18/6. Living things like rest. Clawing is usually a nitrogen toxicity sign. I am unsure how bright you have your light. It may be too much light. In vegging a less intense light promotes growth encouraging the plant to grow to catch the available light. There is a limit of course.

Look like is too cold at night can you u make it hotter or something doesn't make it fall under 15 veg temp day 22-28c night 18-23c Flower stage day 20-26c night 18-23c Late stage day 18-24c night 15-18c I cannot see your ph so make sure the PH water and PH runoff is 6,0 - 7,0 I see also a light stress download PPFD meter and check 24DLI I saw on one leaf you need calmag Best regards

So we are 4 weeks today. They have moved on quite a bit in the last week which is good. The runtz seems to have recovered now from the topping and is finally gaining some height. Temperatures are still much lower than I would want but can’t do much about that. Keeping the roots toasty to compensate. Still no sign of any pre-flower Day 32 - some signs of early pre-flower let’s hope they stretch a bit from here on

Still plodding along slowly! Still not flowering which is a bit of a concern but I guess the cold night temperatures have slowed things down a lot. 2 days of decent temps have given a bit of a growth spurt to them. Hopefully they will flower this week. Day 40 - flowering is incoming!! One of them is stretching Day 37 - looks like we are starting to stretch finally!!! Day 36 - pre-flowers starting to appear I think. ✌️

you'd probably see more damage on tips, if k-def. i'd wager P is a tad high. This can lockout Ca, which would cause the dots, and also potentially 3 other things that can cause interveinal chlorosis - zn, fe, and mg that lower yellow leaf.. did it pale interveinal at first or tip-in.. if tip-in add a little N, too. gotta play with dosing of various products used... try to do those things without drastically changing other things too much. take notes of what you do.. see what happens over 2-3 weeks and go from there... any nosedive and you would obviously react sooner.

So the end of week 6 is here and we are finally flowering! One plant has stretched a lot and is quite a lot taller than the others! They are slowly catching up. Can’t help but think the cold at the start of this grow has screwed things up but we will see! Added in some bloom nutes along with grow. I will taper that off towards the end of this week

Temperatures dropped again and things slowed down. They are really behind where they should be by now. Who knows when we will finish!!! The tall one at the back has stretched so much it’s nearly at the light. I have no more room to move up 😂 On the plus side, they smell lovely and I’m really impressed with the advanced nutrients ph perfect nutes.

They’re probably not that far off now. The big one at the bad is further along so I will see where they are at the end of this week and potentially start flushing if I can Had one extreme to another this week. Temperatures in the tent have exceeded 30 degrees a few times but there is nothing I can do. Be glad to get these over the line
