This week marks the final stage of my grow journey with the Fog Dog Auto plant. Today, I have initiated the flushing process, which involves filling the reservoir with plain, PH’d, water to remove any residual nutrients and promote a clean taste in the final product.
The leaves of the plant have started to yellow, a natural occurrence during the flushing phase. This is a positive sign that the plant is responding well to the reduced nutrient intake. Additionally, upon closer inspection, I have noticed that the trichomes have turned milky white. This change indicates that the plant has reached the perfect moment for harvest.
Over the next 24 hours, I will continue flushing the plant, ensuring that it receives ample water without any nutrients. This step is crucial to enhance the overall quality and flavor of the buds. After the flushing process is complete, I will be ready to harvest my plant.
