WeedHobbyist Germinated one seed between cotton disks. It was still cold in the apartment, so I placed the saucers on my wi-fi router to keep things warm at night. It was enough for the seed to sprout within a day or two and show a half-inch taproot.

WeedHobbyist I used two solo cups, with one inserted into another. If you follow my lead, make three strips instead of two. If the cardboard is poor quality, it can get soft and tear. Mine did. The idea of using two cups like this is that you can slide the inner cup out of the outer one and put it into the final container w/o a slightest stress.
If you wonder what this thing is inside the plastic bag, it's dried seaweed that I found on the beach. I use it for isolation - so that the solo cup doesn't get hot during the day and doesn't cool down too much during the night. I kept my seedling on the balcony from day one. Both the day and night temperatures were almost comfortable for that.

WeedHobbyist I transplanted my girl into a 13-liter grow bag. I surrounded the bag with lots of dried seaweed (as thermal isolation) so that it doesn't get heated by the sun too much and doesn't cool down too much by morning.
Long before the planting, I drenched the soil with water and added some mycorrhizal powder and left it all cook for a few days. Hope it helps.
For the whole of the second week, I didn't have to water my plant once.

WeedHobbyist This is the last week of veg because I can already see the first pistils forming. During the 4th week, I again watered my plant only once - with 750 ml of water plus a bit of Fish-Mix and Top-Max.
I only visited my secret garden at sunrise, and my Gorilla Blue didn't look perky. I suspected overwatering because the surface of the soil was always moist. But maybe the leaves were drooping simply because the sun wasn't yet up. I decided to make the next scheduled visit at the end of the day, but she hardly looked better and was very lopsided because of the wind.
I decided to take a longer break between the waterings the next time. We'll see how it goes. The wether has been sunny throughout, with clear and cool nights.

WeedHobbyist I pruned two lowermost branches this week. Watering every 4 days. All I can check is the surface of the soil (by sticking the finger into it). It seems dry. Maybe the plant has finally started to use up all moisture between waterings. Some small damage by grasshoppers or something, but other than that, my Gorilla Blue looks good.

WeedHobbyist The plant looked more and more droopy as she grew. I hoped it was because I was visiting her early in the morning, but it was most probably because watering once every 3 days is not often enough. For reference, I give her 750 ml and she grows in a 13-liter bag.
Next week, I'll be watering her every morning. Stay tuned!

WeedHobbyist In the 7th week, I watered my plant every morning. It was a right decision as she started to look so much better almost overnight. For a few previous weeks, she had been underwatered severely. For the next week, I decided to try a new schedule: 2 days of watering and then a break on the third day. Will see how it goes.
She's not the most resinous plant ever. I can barely see any trichomes yet.

WeedHobbyist This week the plant looked great every time I visited her. The 2-1 schedule (2 days watering / 1 day break) works the best. The lower leaves were getting yellow and dying off too quickly for my taste, so I added just a tiny drop of nitrogen-rich Fish-Mix to my water each time. I didn't see any symptoms of overfeeding, so I'll be giving her more Bio-Bloom in week 9. I just want the buds to start filling out already.
