Dark devil

Alright, this is my first DWC grow. I have learned some lessons along the way that I can share. First, only a small layer of hydroton should be put in the bottom of the netpot, then your rockwool. I put about two inches and my roots gave up. Second, ph perfect, may be good for week 3+ but if you look at the plant there is obviously ph issues. I find that because the solution is so weak there is not enough buffer to lower the ph to an acceptable range. when I do this again I will control my own ph and use a GH flora 3 part at least for the first three weeks. lastly, I truly like DWC so far vs soil or soiless (coco). I find it's less work, I change the buckets once a week with new solution and just top up daily after checking ppm and ph. It's cleaner and despite ph issue the results are good so far.
