Aphid/Fungus Problem
- Tough week...aphids on couple plants #4,#1..Treated with Neem foliar application
- Plants have exploded in size!
- Brought plants in one night of possible frost
- Upping Nutes..cont Foliar Spray both nutes and Neem
- #1 have about 12 tops from all over the plant...she is as wide as she is tall
- #2 is most def a male...getting rid of it soon
- #3 Monster...large top development...removing old bottom fans gradually
- #4 Struck by so sort of light brown fungus on the joints..not sure what it is...seemed to stop spreading after Neem application
- Will continue Neem foliar spray every 4 days for a couple weeks then back it down to every 7 or 14 days
- Nute Foliar spray is 2X a week
- Switching to every other watering will be a feed now going to 850-900 ppm
- Almost into June when the days will be the longest..can't wait
Are you sure those are lady bug eggs. They don't look like the ladybug eggs I had. Unless it's the camera yours look very round. Mine looked elongated, a thin oval.
I built a little hut for my ladybugs. I put a little honey and a small bowl of water with paper towel in it so they didn't dround. I really don't think those are ladybug eggs. Seems to fast for them to lay eggs. Also when they lay eggs the ladybugs are huge. Twice the size of a regular lady.
That is 1 nice plant, she is sexting. Damn bugs can be a nightmare. This year I'm trying bug netting. Will see how it goes. The netting will also keep ladybugs in if i need them. Next year I'm putting all my plants under under the bug netting. Vegetables. I like the bucket trick to keep the netting up. Well good luck.
