MrPott First time setting up a DWC system. First problem so far is the temp of the water. It's 22-24C, and I plan to use beneficial bacteria and silica to help prevent root rot. No nutes for the first week.

MrPott Apparently, I have been mixing my nutes wrong. I always pH my water first and only then I will mix in the other liquids.
So the proper order is silica > base nutes > calmag > additives > pH
The roots are growing healthy tho. Despite the challenging start, loving the DWC project so far. Heard that once the roots touches the water, the growth will boom. Let's see if that's true by next week.

MrPott The ladies are looking good! Except for Banana Purple. I think she's experiencing a deficiency problem. Hopefully, this week's water change will fix that. Other than that, the roots are looking white and good (with a bit of brown spots but I think that's the nutes)
On that note, switching up the way I measure my nutes on this grow guide to make things easy. e.g. Bloomwell is actually 15ml/16 litre (that's my bucket size)
