I'm very excited to be running the Tropicana Poison again. My first time I bought a 3+1 pack, killed two and grew out two. One was purple and the other, green. The green was by far my favorite, but collecting purple kief and pressing it into beautiful purple rosin was also very appealing, and tasty. So, let's see what this round will bring. Already with the stem rubs I can tell this will be a special plant for sure.
The day after last week's post it started to show purple. So that's something interesting to look forward to. Being able to have a purple plant in getting warmer temps is pretty nice. Add some colour to the garden. She is just loving life. Plants are happy, I'm happy.

It's really hard to capture with my phone but some of the calyxes are red, maybe technically magenta, but they look red! In the photos they obviously look purple.
Trichomes are coming in. They smell sweet and fruity! Also pollinated a branch with the Pinkleberry F7.
Fucked ph for all plants this round. My waters ph was at 8. Not good. Although this plant is showing the most resistance against this stress......the lower buds are not at all developed and the the main tops are pretty spongy/airy.
Buds are pretty fluffy, not very dense. Its all up to how she smokes now. Chop next week. Went longer then the recommended time. Trying make sure i dont chop to soon.
Not sure if it was my mistakes in the end or if this particular seed was just not a keeper. Very airy buds. Not alot of weight behind them. Smell is still an acrid, slightly tropical smell. Confuses my senses. Nothing like the first two i grew. The green pheno is by far my favorite. I hope this one smokes well. Otherwise i may just have to use it for tinctures and cannaoil. Infused honey and syrup too. 😋
