This week, the 4 main branches developed further and got longer and way thicker. I have tied all new growth down with this metal wire you see on some pictures. Sometimes, I distributed even the leaves with that to ensure that all new growing tips were not shaded. I tried to cover the soil with leaves so that all the light from above can be caught by the plant, as I don't need the expensive light to illuminate the soil. To maximize the amount of light distributed into the leaves, I used white thick paper and surrounded my plant with it. I gave it some hours of natural sunlight indoors at a window, then some hours darkness and then I put it under 120W LED illumination. I had 20W of 6500K, 20W of 4000K, and 80W of 2700K and it was sufficient. I low stress trained and high stress trained my plant almost every day a bit but not too much, so I could place the lights very near the leaves.

I was courageous and transplanted my baby into a bigger pot. Actually I wanted the smaller 3L pot to be her final container, but as she grew so massively and as most reviewer appreciated the quality of this strain, I felt like maybe she could vegg a bit longer and the pot may have become too small to support and hold the extra weight of the flowers. I have read and heated that you should not top or repot your autoflower or otherwise you'll get small plants flowering way to early. However, I have also read that especially autos are very sensitive and responsive to their availible soil volume and are quick to initiate flower once the roots circle around the edges of the pot. It smelled a bit less upon the repotting and grew very strong, so I guess I have successfully prolonged the veg phase. It looked and smelled like it was almost about to flower, but this disappeared and reverted back to typical vegetative growth. However, you'll need to ensure that your gardening and transplanting skills are well developed, cause you can injure your plants severely if done clumsy.

The plant grew heavily and utilized the volume/space of its new 10 liter pot, as viable in a kind of growth boost after repotting. It did look like it wanted to begin flowering earlier, and as I noticed this I transplanted her into a way bigger container, hoping to prolong the veg phase. I have heard about some Autos being very sensitive about their soil volume and initiate flowering very strongly once the roots have exploited all available space and nutrients

Now outdoors day and night, protected by a small greenhouse. It has been fertilized well, with a common cheap synthetic fertilizer bought at a grocery store. I used half the recommended concentration twice as often to avoid salt accumulation and over feeding. But when I saw it growing well, it got small amounts of feeding. It has started flowering on 31/03/2023, and continously forms new pistols on more and more buds. However, compared to all the warmer indoor grow reports, it develops and progresses slightly slower

The plant continues to develop flowers, the growing leaves get less feathers per leaf and I guess it'll stretch still a bit, the main colas at the end of the tips remain to be formed. Maybe I'll get more than 10 big main colas. The temperature fluctuates, however, I got my plant used to that and by placing it outdoors in a very sheltered position and exposing it slowly and progressively to cooler temperatures in combination with high outside light intensity. I am very happy with the performance of this strain, it did tolerate and handle low to medium amount of various stressors applied almost constantly over its lifespan. Hopefully, all the storms, coldness, natural UV light and the defoliation and supercropping (that this Hulkberry Auto took like its nothing and continued growing quickly) will trigger the plant to elicit frosty, tasty and big buds. Guess harvest time will be around mid May

The plant has been without shelter since a week and was exposed to strong winds, cool temperatures, direct full sun all day and we had heavy rain showers. One night there was almost 0°C but no frost hit the plant. The plant still looks very healthy, but the growth somehow slowed a bit, I assume caused by the overall cooler temperatures. We had a very cool spring this year and I removed the little greenhouse as it was to small to cover the whole plant. However, the flowers are getting more, slowly but progressively.

Hi there, it has been a while since I last wrote something, so here some information: As the spring progressed and temperature and sunshine increased, the plant developed faster and prospered. It was outside since the start of April, with cool days around 10°C and warm days up to 20°C as well as two nights with light frosts at exposed sites, but I placed it next to a wall those critical nights. I did no training anymore since the beginning of flowering, because I did not want to tie it to the ground in this rainy spring, as the flowers have progressed its development quite a bit. However, as the spring season is cooler then summer and my plant never received much more than 20°C, I guess it still takes some weeks till harvest time. But all good things take a while, the buds are still growing bigger and I begin to see how heavily the ~20 main kolas got loaded with flower buds, with some leaves already putting some frost on. As I placed my Hulkberry heightened on a roof, I decided to not tie the branches further downwards, because it looks like even the inside is still getting some light, as the sun comes from a different angle and a different direction throughout the day. I guess, some inner buds would develop into bigger ones if I did, but not that many. I'll keep documenting, greets

I did wash and rinse the soil with water to remove excess nutrients and to promote leaf senescence to allocate the generated metabical resources into the buds. Apart from that, I kept the plant pretty dry, as I heard this would also increase quality via stress mediated responses.

This plant took a while but I felt like it was necessary to fully mature. Those flowers that are called pre flower have dried off, every spike hat some fresh and some more mature flowers on it and I found amber trichomes at the elder flowers and just milky white trichomes at the majority of all flowers. We had some days with no clouds and full June sun and heat and a lot of dry winds, thus the aroma flattened somehow unluckily. It used to have pleasant lemon citrus notes that almost dissappeared as the days got warmer. However, the flowers where still getting bigger and the Trichomes were still more developing than degrading, so I waited. I did harvest some buds and 2.5 main twigs earlier, so they are missing in the latest pictures. The flowers tend to be more loose and airy and instead of massive head buds, this bred developed 'spikes' with more or less evenly distributed buds along a longer portion of the stem. The high is nice and energetic and I got in working mode, but after consuming a bit more, I can fall asleep easily. It was very tolerant against cold temperatures and intense sunlight, it was very healthy throughout it's lifespan. Some aphids attacked in the last week as many aphids are active now. I did not treat and now that the host is dead, they have fallen off. I did not water it much since may and exposed it to drought stress, as I have heard this enhances quality. I wanted the fan leaves to senescate to promote allocation into the buds, but maybe the aroma was better if I watered slightly more often in the heat. But all in all I am happy with the results and hopefully they dry and cure well

Hi there, this is my first time growing Hulkberry Auto from RQS and apart from one outdoor summer grow 10 years ago, it is my second growing season. I have started this seed at 07/02/2023 indoors, intending to veg it into a big plant and then getting it used to outdoor conditions while flowering, so the plant has plenty of leaf surface area to catch the strong spring sun. I did top it at the 3rd node and formed a cross shape with the 4 emerging side branches. I chose a relatively wide pot so I could fix the upward growth into a horizontal position.
the end.
