I'm a bit worried after i move it from coco coir to leca but ist only been one day.
I'm happy about my DWC, ist big and easy to clean and make changes.
For air pump i use BOYU S-4000B (760L/h) and 4 round airstone.
The tank have around 40 liters of water.
Day 4.

Temp 19 C in tank and 21 in air.
Needed one gram of PH-.
Are just in day 5 and two of them seems to enjoy.

First time growing, and first time with dwc. I chose to build my own dwc tank!
First week was alright, I think I put the seed to early in coco coir and then into leca in dwc tank.
Tap water is around 200 ppm and 7.6ph, I boil the water because of kalk.
First 2-3 days I was starting with 7.2 - 6.6 ph and 520 - 640 ppm

Hello DWCpaqy, I do recommend to start the 600 hps from the moment that you notice the first signs from flowering. My DWC bucket got a drain and I can get the lid of without lifting the plant up, so if you can do the same you can just attach your LST ropes to the bucket. If not you can always place 4 cheap plastic 5kg dumbbells inside the tent and attache your LST ropes to these weights. Easiest material to use for LST in my opinion are soft wire and tie wraps. Enjoy your grow!
It's going good to me my first grow ever! I write down the PPM, EC, humidity and temperature daily, change water every 7 day ish.
PPM I'm around 900 to 1100
Haven't needed to add any water between the change.
They are loving life! Changing from led to hps lamp 250w to 640w digital ballast.
Going to buy a air intake for fresh and cold air. I have the lamp on 250-400w now but I'm going to enxrese to 600 in some week. Ask if you wonder something
Week's are going, not so much happend but started to do LST and change to 600w hps like rekomended here on Growdiaries.com.

Change the set up for lst, did read and saw some YouTube about it.
They growing pretty well, and can control the temperature and humidity in a good way. Have some ice I put in the bucket to keep them around 22c.

I think I have a problem with salt around roots because the ppm was 1200 when I put in plants and 12 hours after the ppm was increase to 1500ppm.
I'm not sure but the plant seams good and some smell as well.
Have any tips for me?

Week has been good. I'm not sure about the ppm and salt around roots, they are a little brown. Wounder if I should flush them and start again with nutrient?
And see some of the last picture, it's pretty thigth between the leaf and buds, should I but some of the leaf?

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day.
Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!!
Trimming so I can keep the same hight.
Have any tips or rekomandation?
Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

I think my buds is a little thigth and close to each other, I tried to use some rubber band but ended up trimming some leaf. I'm not sure about fan leaf and they you need, but if they are covering building buds I take them.
Have some more weeks before havrest, when I have 2 weeks left I'm going to use terra aquatica Final Part 🙏

This week the Purple Queen really going to the moon.
Northern lights is growing buds and smells beautiful.
Change water every week. Had problem with ppm in the water, it's was higher the day after even if I put fresh water in. Did read it can develop salt around roots soni flush it and now is dropping 100 ppm a day at least.
Still a bit worried about not enough space between buds and wondering if they going to grow alot taler.
I've read your Diary. Its good. Seen your comment about your ppm going up. Has nothing to do with salts pal. Your ppm is too high.
Everyday. Your ppm should be dropping by 100ppm at min. This is signs your plant is feeding and has good nutrition intake. When your level goes up. You need to ditch that res. Could be start of salt build up. I don't see it though. You're coming into a more harder stage of growing. When you come into pre flower that's when you'll start seeing any true mistakes from your grow. If you've any Q feel free to mes me.

Thank! But I change water and ppm was 1200 then I put the roots in and after 12 hours is 1500 ppm.
I'm going to change again and try to flush the roots with water and if that not works I'm ordering some flush clean. What else can it be? Can it been nutrients in the roots? And when I'm changing water the temperature change?
I trying to read about how to trim when ist flowering, did try some today so will see tomorrow.
