Purple Punch 04/23

Alex_xlive 27.04.23: I initially planted the seeds in potting soil. This is my first attempt at growing my own, and I didn't want to go overboard with a tent and specific lights right away. So, the growing is mostly happening on the windowsill. Throughout the day, I place the pots on the windowsill where the sun shines in and let them sit on the balcony during the day. I haven't been paying attention to the humidity yet. 01.05.23: Today, I put a glass over one of the seeds to see if it develops faster or better. 02.05.23: I noticed that the seed that germinated under the glass developed faster. From now on, I will move the glass position throughout the day so that each of the seeds gets a bit of humidity during the day. The ones that aren't covered get a constant spray from the water sprayers during the day. This way, they still have a bit of humidity when the sun is blasting down on them all the time. 03.05.23: So far, two of the seeds have developed well. However, the third one doesn't look so good. The third one hasn't managed to push its root out of the seed yet. Still, it has already developed the two typical leaves. But these two leaves are just peeking out of the seed and haven't developed a stem. 06.05.23: The unsuccessful seed has now shed one half of its seed coat. However, the root hasn't visibly developed further. Also, no stem has developed for the two leaves. The other two seeds are growing very quickly. One of them also fell over today. I assume that the roots aren't developing as well as the stem. The plant is probably using its energy to search for more light. To prevent the two from growing too quickly, I will give them less water since I can't change the light intensity or duration of lighting, as I'm working with the sun. I have a feeling that this project won't be very successful. Maybe someone can help me with tips. :((
