Day 0 Germ:
Just got my first grow underway! Set up the 3x3 AC Infinity grow kit this morning and planted these right away in 3 gal fabric pots.. Put the seed directly into the soil. It's 75% Gaia Green Living Soil and 25% Gaia Green Worm Castings. Also using Gaia Green dry amendments, so that's 1tbsp per gal of 4-4-4 All Purpose and of 2-8-4 Power Bloom. Technically only used .5tbps per gal of each since adding the Power Bloom early. Adding it early because they are autos and some guy on the internet told me to do it that way. Watered at 6.3 ph with just about a shot glass of water each. Put a little plastic up on top of each seed to up the humidity for them. I will remove the lid once they sprout.
All controlled by the AC Infinity 69 Pro controller. Only have one clip fan setup at the moment but have another one ready to go when needed. Tent is sitting at 78F and 65% humidity. Under the 240W that comes with the kit, about 18 inches from the soil.
Day 2.5 Germ:
Slightly sprayed the soil on top of the seeds with 6.2 pH water. Just trying to keep it moist. Also watered the soil around the plastic cups to keep the rest of the soil hydrated. The light is now at 22 inches above the soil and dimmed to 50% intensity. Trying to get a grip in this DLI and PPFD thing. Using the Photone App on iOS to monitor. I think my DLI is still high for 24/0 lighting but I'm still learning so the lighting setup might change! Added a picture of the tent conditions as per the AC Controller 69 PRO interface. Temperature is now in Celsius so that it's easier to track for myself and my fellow growers from up North 😃 Going to aim to maintain these conditions until they turn into seedlings.
Day 3.5 Germ:
Went in to spray the top soil around the cups for all the girls this morning and took a peek under the lids. Looks like Double Grape plants number 1 and 2 are starting to make their way up from the soil! Number 3 yet to show her head. Will check the tent once before bed tonight and will update if she shows up. Most likely will show tomorrow at the earliest.
Day 4 Germ:
All three coming along. Number 1's stem shot up the second most but she has her seed shell clinging on to the top of the stem. But the cotyledons don't seem impeded by it so they should spread by end of the night. Number 2 has the most growth of them all with the bigger first set of leaves and longer stem. Still got a little clinger there tho.. And coming in as the shortest, but also with first set of leaves, is Number 3. At least she doesn't have baggage like the other two.
Day 5 Germ:
Nothing much to report. Slight growth on the three girls. Next time I post (unless something worthwhile comes up) will be at the start of week 1 veg for them. I expect that to be in two days.
Tent is sitting at 70% humidity, 24 degrees Celsius and a.75-0.80 VPD
Currently at 22" above soil at 50% intensity and still getting ~50DLI at Germ/Seedling stage (too high?). It's a 240W LED. Do I keep dimming the light or do I change light schedule (24h currently) to get proper DLI?
Showing come slight curling on a couple fingers of a couple fan leaves on 2 plants. Also showing on the new forming leaves at the top. Is this normal? 240W light at 24" above at 30% intensity for 3 weeks. Again, it's only on a couple leaves. Check Grow Journal for more info.
There are only 3 reasons for the edges to curl up. Those reasons are, heat stress, root problems or extreme low humidity. You know the best wich one of these could be the most obvious for your grow.
I have the same a/c infinity set up as you. I like the wifi set up. It took about 4 days for my DG to pop up. It’s been a smooth grow so far. Happy growing!
@mcflow,
Thanks! Feeling pretty good with this setup for both this grow and the CDLC in the other diary. But I know I’ll need some luck still to harvest some big buds on this first grow lol!

Looks like yours came out good. Wish I could a gotten mine to grow tall like that but a lot of first timer mistakes I'll learn from for the next grow. Happy Growing😎
