This little lady went hard with her sisters this week. They went up to 8 nodes so they were topped back till node 3 and cleaned up. She can hold on to her big leaves for a couple more days to recover.
She's coming back good ! Removed her big leaves after 4 days. New shoots are allready there. Changed the wire to some thicker,easier to bend one that doesn't cut the branches. They really want to grow to the light. At the moment they are having 2x 55W TL with a 6500k & 9500k lamp. Can't wait till my HPS is free to overload them with MH goodness.
the girls really like the big pots and the MH light!. I try to keep them low and they almost all reaching the ring. I'll properly swap to flower in 1-2 weeks so the middle can full up nicely.
The girls got a last trim and are in flowering now ! Really happy to see them grow like this. Didn't had a single leave that turned yellow or had any deficiencies for the whole veg stage !
Flowering really started this week. I keep having some Spidermyte issues from last grow. Plants got several washings in the veg stage with water and natural soap. And this week I found a ladybug in the house (Called him Barney :)) and I trust him to eat the remaining bastards.
Flowering really kicked off with the zkittelz. Nice big flowers are forming and the leaves are getting sticky !
Dryed out the plants for 3 days to install the watering system cause the christmas holidays are coming.
Week went really well. Mains are getting strong and nice round buds on this girl. Buds are thicker than her sisters. Water system is in place now and we're good to go on holiday.
Harvest in a couple of days. Everything's pretty milky. Was expecting this a bit earlier but is more handy like this doing all 3 ladies together. Going to put them in the dark for 2-3 days and then cut them, dry and cure.
Really fun to grow this lady. Good reaction to the topping, made some nice stems full of flowers. Flowers are really hard and sticky. Keep in mind, this is a full organic grow so no nutrients used and the result is well above expectations. I'll cure the buds for a couple of days and add a taste review.
