Well, well, well -- labor day is pretty much my birthday (9/5), so I germed on 9/3. Tails were out on 9/5, so, you'll see, that this is a massive 33rd birthday grow. (In its entirety, I call this the: Ultimate (here), 3 Bears Blue Bubbly (just gonna get included here/there {mephistos}), Amnesia XXL (there) grow.
Naturally, I ordered a coco based soil from shazamazon and the wrong item was dispatched. I had already germed, as my intent was not building a full soil and just running coco from a bag and see what happens. But they didn't get me the correct item (NFTG #4 / NFTG #2). So, what happened was 3:1 = #4 soil : chunky perlite. I then topped that off with 'espoma fast-draining succulent soil with myccos (includes 'glomus intaradices' & 'glomus mosseae'; both of which are believed to be very Cannabis-Friendly). I then saturated the soil, placed the popped bean and covered with lava rock for mulch. I have 'great white myccos' to re-innoculate @ 10 day intervals. This is all in a stacked 3.5gal equivalent air pot (so closer to 5 gal, actually). I also mixed in espoma biotone 3/4 cup of 5-5-5 general fert globally. We're seedings, and here we go!!
As always, thanks for peeking and happy healthy and prosperous growing to you all!
Just chugging along. The Auto Ultimate is one of the strongest babies in the tent. MAYBE being outpaced by the Auto Amnesia XXL(chicken shit). I switched her position with my RQS Auto Diesel (which has entered the stretch, and outgrew her spot, hitting the tent walls). She looks real happy and healthy. This next watering (tonight), I'll be adding Great White Powdered Myco, and keep it going every ten days, until beginning of flushing/Ripening. I don't have a PPM ceiling planned for her, but I'm hoping to stay under 1000, more likely under 750, but we're utilizing the RQS Diesel as a litmus test to see where the NFTG nutes her the most satisfied and minimally disgruntled (and she's FLOURISHING with no veg feeding and only 2 light bloom-style feeds {should've done a journal on her}). Anywhoozles - I think that's enough rambling for now - thanks for peeking!
As always, happy healthy and prosperous growing, to you all!!
Umm.. Well, I'll disclose the soil -- it's NFTG #4 soil 8 parts : 3 perlite : 2 coco ;;; with an additional 1.5 cups of Espoma bio-tone 4-3-3 globally. I believe I already explained the light/placement sitchurnation..
.
I really tried to force water/feed into the soil. Quite a bit spilled out the air pot holes, as I was pouring more in; I didn't really care.. Carelessness. But it's the first feed, so it's really no big issue, save for a waste of money..
.
Doing some leaf tucking. This girl has definitely taken the alpha position in this grow and she'll get whatever she wants, including getting her own meal next time.
.
I'll get the pics needed to catch up on days/weeks.Updated 10/2. A bit of leaf curling on New growth
Well, she began pre-flower without a hitch and I began giving nutes. She's deep green, screaming 'stop with the N, already!!!'
.
Attended a wedding this weekend - sorry for the lack of pics - _not sorry_.
.
It's been real humid these past few days and it really is just miserable. The misses FINALLY let the a/c be turned on again, it was 86% humidity @ 75* outside the Grove, barely better inside..
.
Hope it gets better, and I sincerely hope your grow is not swimming like mine, but, going swimmingly.
.
Happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
Looking decent. Dark green. Not totally happy with it, but I think that's a factor of the NFTG #4 soil being a little rich; I'll figure out how to cut this, or relegate it to photos only soil. Chugging along!
Happy healthy and prosperous growing!!!
Good week. She kept getting either Thursday or hungry. It ends up being hunger, but I won't know that for a few more days. I like her, she's finicky and gives me day dream fuel.. How to fix???? Love it.
Happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
Plant seems to be switching to the stacking phase, but it's a slow transition. I think I'm gonna bring her To about 90 days, maybe 100. We'll see, but definitely longer than seventy and eighty. She's finally getting hungry!
Happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
I was mean and let the ladies starve this week.. all in all, due to the rich soil, this girl handled it very well, only losing green on a few leaves, whereas others are totally yellow at this point (a month early!)) But that's not this so it's of no concern.
.
Decent week. I'm projecting she'll hit 90 days easily..I may begin the flush/ripen on that day, but we're barely over halfway there, so lots of time to postulate. 1200 ppm seems to be doing very well, currently, deeper green than I'd like, but not as bad as sayyyyy, my C-4 a few grows ago... Haha, oh vell!
.
Happy healthy and prosperous growing, all!!
Decent going. This sure sucks on a phone. Beginning to switch to the swell phase. She looks to be headed towards 90 days. Decent girl, no real stink yet, and I love her structure. Wouldn't mind if she got wider, but I'm not complaining either.
.
Sorry I've been garbage at updating.
.
As always, happy healthy and prosperous growing!
Again, sorry for the lack of prompt updating.
.
Still grooving here, all my other girls are getting flushed out for finishing which will end up being day 74, meanwhile Auto Ultimate warriors on!
.
Happy healthy and prosperous growing
Still motoring!!
.
I've also come to the realize that you'll never be able to tell that I'm being bad with updates!! Hahahahahaha!!!!!! Sweet Leaf on radio!! Jaaaaaammmmmmmmmm!!!
.
She's still intaking a lotta nutrients, but no burning. Stacking nicely. Low odor strain, so far. Much less than the mephistos that were in the same grow.
.
Thanks for peeking! Happy healthy and prosperous growing!
Well.. It got down to the swell and I let it go a little. Only kicking myself. Nice full plant. Good buzz, great structure. I'd think about trying it again, but maybe photoperiod and outdoors. Cheers! Thanks for peeking.
And as always: happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
