rvyASVP Directly put into the soil, but I didn't have any other plastic for the cover, so it looks a bit shabby hahaha The run consists of 2x GG Auto from FastBuds and is done in Organic Living Soil, which means I don't have to fertilize. Compost teas are recommended, but I'm replacing that with a Transition Top Dress so that the flowering gets everything it needs. Watering is done with standing tap water, and pH correction is not necessary. All in all, my first grow in the tent, and I'm excited!

rvyASVP So far nothing special, except that both have germinated. Both look really good at the beginning of the week. Let's see.

rvyASVP Nothing special, no problems whatsoever. Next week or week after ill topdress with flower amendments. I set the leds to 100% power yesterday so these babies get the full power. I also started to supplement some co2 since the days are getting warmer.

rvyASVP Currently not at home, a friend is taking care of the watering and sending me pictures. The plants are growing really well. The only thing that worries me is the CO2 level, which isn't increasing despite the CO2 bag... well, I will organize a second one and use the Kickflip Topdress from almicanna next week. As soon as I'm home, I'm also considering finally applying LST.

rvyASVP I was away from the weekend until Tuesday, and the smaller plant really suffered from the lack of water. But it has bounced back. I'm more worried about the helper plants and the medium because both were very, very dry, which can be deadly for the crops in the soil. I hope there are no deficiency symptoms (none so far). If there are, I'll top dress again and hope it works out. Otherwise, the plants are living their lives. The temperatures are also concerning me because of potential foxtailing in the future, but I can't do anything about that right now due to the crappy summer.

rvyASVP The ladies are growing very well at the moment. No signs of deficiency. Everything is going great. The only thing that worries me a bit now is the distance to the lamp. I've kept raising it to reach 30cm, and the plants tended to keep growing taller, which leads to long stems. For the last 2 days, I've left the light at one height, and the plants haven't gotten closer with the buds. I think I'll leave it like this for now, as the plant will probably self-regulate in that regard.

rvyASVP Everything is good so far, actually no problems. Both have started producing trichomes. What surprises me is that although the 5L plant was always lagging behind, it ended up flowering first, and with almost a week's difference.

rvyASVP I had my first deficiencies while growing. What I didn't know is that when growing with LEDs, a calcium-magnesium deficiency often occurs due to a lack of full spectrum. I temporarily top-dressed and watered a bit to fix it for the time being, then I watered with Epsom salt water. So far, the leaves are no longer discoloring; let's see what happens. Additionally, I did a strong defoliation again so that the light can penetrate better.

rvyASVP All issues from the deficiency have stopped, and the buds are now denser with quite a few trichomes. All of them are still relatively lightly cloudy. A harvest is soon in sight. For the first time in Living Soil, I have to say that I am incredibly impressed. Very, very strong growth so far.

rvyASVP The plant keeps growing and the buds are getting bigger too. The trichomes are slowly starting to turn amber on the smaller plant, which worries me a bit since the rest of the trichomes aren't really milky/cloudy... Should I harvest the small one already? Also, the smaller plant has some purple accents, it looks really beautiful.

In the trichome pictures with the 5L tag you can see the trichome pictures from the 5L plant. Im kinda confused to see some brown trichomes eventhough the other ones are not really cloudy… Should i harvest already since i wanted to harvest at about 5-10% brownyness?

No this doesn’t look ready. Keep in mind that trichs can go amber from physical contact/damage or other things besides natural ripening.. so you’ll usually always have some ambers from that on your plant in my experience. Also make sure you’re scoping the actual bud/bracts/calyxes not the sugar leaves around them which also have trichs

rvyASVP The 15L plant is showing calcium/magnesium deficiency for the 2nd time. It was watered with Epsom salt. This plant is taking a bit longer, but that’s probably due to the deficiencies. Otherwise, it looks really good. I might have to harvest by the end of next week regardless of the progress, which is very sad. But I think the plant should be far enough along by then.

rvyASVP That was the 5L plant, a lot of purple and surprisingly high yield so far. Let's see how much it will ultimately be when dry. Drying will be interesting again, as it’s very humid here right now and I’m afraid mold might form. I expect it to be around 30g when dry. I will update it as soon as the buds are dry and manicured.
