Some cannabis strains grow like meatballs (indicas), and others grow like spaghetti (sativas). Banana Kush is definitely spaghetti. It has a wiry structure and loves to stretch, even with the early LST. As it stretches upwards towards the light, it also has a tendency to grow back inward. On day 48 I threw up a screen to keep it open for air circulation and light penetration. It's still adjusting to the screen but I'm hopeful it will continue to fill out. The colas are starting to burst out and I started noticing the smell for the first time this past week.
I'm going to stay the course this week and leave it alone while it continues to mature and fill out. Thanks for checking it out!

Top leaf tips turned yellowish, brown with curling. I'm leaning towards light burn as the cause, but noticed it started occurring during the recent hot weather. I've raised the lights, but am wondering if this could actually be related to the heat.

Looks like nutrient burn from prolonged high levels of nutrients. Some phenotypes are more sensitive than others. They usually start with the tips turning a whitish color before turning brown. I usually back off nutrients if they all start to pale on the leaf tips. I would use less nutrients in your mix.

My first grow was with ILGM seed...og kush auto's. My experience was pretty good. How did you like running them?

@Huckleberry39, It was real easy. I just kept feeding her and trying to leave her alone. She bulked up nicely. I've had them curing for almost 30 days and will be smoke testing soon. Other ILGM BK diaries are similar.
