Just started my first grow.
I'm growing autos.
I'm hoping to have a decent end result.
See too many diaries on here of people that end up with dead looking weed.
I'm hoping I've done enough research to come out with something half decent.
plants are coming along nicely. 4 out of 4 seeds popped. 100% success rate.
I started these autos of in tissue until they sprouted and then put them in rootit cubes and soaked the cubes in TNC mycorrmax which is similar to recharge and biosys.
Then I stuck them in a heated propagator and made sure the cubes stayed moist and didn't dry out.
on around day 7 I could see 4 sets of serrated leaves growing as shown in the pictures and also could see roots coming out of the rootit cubes so then decided to put the rootit cubes into some seedling soil which I did want to be biobizz light mix but couldn't get any near where I live so had to get some John innes seedling soil which is obviously far from ideal but I'm hoping as this stage is just temporary until they go into final pots with biobizz allmix the soil will serve its purpose.
plants aren't showing any signs of nute burns yet and look to be doing okay. I put the cubes in the soil yesterday so will update in a week I suppose, if this app works properly on my bloody phone. this app sucks they need to fix it.
oh and the clones are my mates that I'm looking after. He is well into flowering so didn't have optimum environment for them and that's why one of them practically looks dead. They look a lot better now than they did believe it or not lol.
good growth and happy with their development. think I might of not given them the best start in life as I transplanted them twice early on and probably could have avoided that. lesson learnt.
I would be updating this diary better if the app wasn't such a broken piece of shit. I seriously pull my hair out with this fucking app.
Also when I try and upload photos it just randomises every photo in my photo album so I have to travel through unbelievable amount of photos until I come across my ones of my plants. it's fucking ridiculous.
so yeah I want to have a nice diary but this app makes it impossible.

my grow has been going really well. I'm almost into the sixth week now and I have lots of pre flower sites and basically I'm just thrilled with how well it's going so far. I was so nervous to start growing because of all the information but I realised 90% of people don't know what they are doing anyways and people over complicate things soooo fucking much lol.
it's been relatively stress free and issue free since day one. I've definitely already learnt a lot, and I'm hoping the end of the grow goes as well as the beginning and I come out with some good results.
would update more if the app didn't suck balls. but you get a general idea of progression etcetera.
haha thanks very much ! I am looking forward to the journey big time. just waiting for the seedlings to hit vegetative growth at the moment it's a bit boring at the moment but will update my diary when something worth posting happens lol
You're doing alright. Just a mention for future grows. I don't transplant autos ever... Well except when they go from the paper towel to the soil. I always plant them in the final growing pot usually 3-5 gallons. It looks like you're going to need to transplant at least one more time. Autos will flower regardless of the photo period or the age of the plant. Anything you do to stunt their growth could prove to be detrimental. Not to sound hypocritical, but I do usually top them one time at the 4th node if I'm going to do it. This also stunts their growth but sometimes I get lucky and it increases the yield. Good Luck bro!
yeah I know a lot of people don't transplant autos but it's just like a lot of things with growing weed where people have such wildly differing opinions on the same thing lol. I'm going to try and transplant them carefully to minimise the stress and way before the plants get rootbound or anything like that and my mate who is helping me suggested doing it in smaller pots to begin with to manage the seedlings a bit easier and so far so good. next time around I might have the confidence to stick them in their final pots straight away but just weren't that confident this time round as my first attempt. I'm also only going to LST these autos this time around so I will save on stressing them there so hopefully i wont suffer too much from stress. really appreciate the input though mate, any advice is welcome. cheers for checking out my grow so far.
Not sure if it helps, But if you cant get your preferred soil try Jacks Magic. Just add 😊perlite and maybe some vermiculite at maybe a 3:1:1 ratio and you should be good. It is a nice airy soil but has some heft..

appreciate it mate. I'm all sorted now, and in future I'm definitely gonna order the light mix, it was just I was using soil my mate gave me and he thought he give me light mix and all mix but he only gave me all mix and said he couldn't find the light mix so I was in a pinch really. I added perlite to this John innes soil and mixed a small amount of all mix in with it too and I'm hoping it will be sweet and not too hot for the plants. cheers for following I'm excited to see what I can do with this grow seeing as it's my first attempt.
