Kind grower gave me these seeds:
"Acapulco gold from bodhi. She is very narrow leaf. Buddy crossed her to iranian early flower. Which is also a thin leaf plant. Indica structure, but sativa leaves. Have her at f3. I really love this girl! She has a giggly pheno, that is more champagne, and caramel, but not as much funk. And so happy to find the dankapulco pheno. She is carrying that dank we love in our new hybrids. Have 4 plants of this pheno going right now. Just little kids. Shes in my top 3 favorites for sure. She will stone you out so much better than these new hybrids, imho. Lol"
Dropped in water with 1 and 1/2 teaspoons 3% Hydrogen Peroxide for 24 hours on 05/12 then to paper towel.
6 of 7 popped by 05/16 & put in Peat Pellets.
Light dimmed up to 50%, first topping on day 41, ready to up pot to the final 5 gal pots as soon as I have a chance, so much gardening right now, inside & out...
Rough week, underfed & plants got real hungry, cannibalized like crazy, fed & clipped the worst leaves, they look real droopy as pics were taken just a few minutes before lights out but should recover I think. I hope to flip in a couple weeks so I added a little Bloom in the feed cycle.
AG#1+6 bolted to showing male sacs & were pulled from tent, guess I'm glad it happened before flipping to 12/12 (today), I'm pretty certain the other 4 are female. I wiped the tent down & water sprayed the rest of plants to be safe.
I did some more LST on AG#4+5
Plants seem to be recovering pretty well from the Cal-Mag deficiency, most burn is gone.
First week of flowering, thought I had 4 females but AG#3 showed male over last night, so I'm down to 3, I was told these seeds would be 50/50 M to F so it rang true.
I raised the lights yesterday & have them around 75% brightness.
So far so good.
Raised lights today as they go AG#5 is stretching 33" and was getting a little close for comfort, did a little bottom trimming this week but not enough to count as defoliating, otherwise just feeding a bit more & continuing to flower, some light bud color is starting to show.
Also added some Dyna-Gro Zyme to clean the roots.
I think I'm looking at about 3 weeks to cut? These smell good but are pretty light on sugar (due to being a more landrace strain I suspect) so its a bit tough to check terp shade beyond not seeing anything close to amber, time will tell I guess.
I came to the rather obvious (in hindsight) conclusion that I way over fed Cal on this grow, as there is sufficient Cal in FP & Bloom Cal-Mag Plus was not at all needed & I should have stuck to Dyna-Gro Mag Pro, my BIG bad, live & learn, to add insult to injury I found bud rot on some of the runt AG#1 kolas, I chopped out the rot & I think some parts of the kolas can be salvaged so I can taste a little before the final chop, I kept the RH in good range so I don't think that it was totally my fault, the plant had always been a bit of a genetic botch that seemed to be less thirsty than the other two so I good chance it was over watered I retained it to rot, it still smells great though.
I unfortunately found rot on 2 of the runt AG#1, its a problem child, hopefully the last, cut all the additional Cal & FP out just Bloom & Zyme, maybe a little Mag Pro before the end, hope to cut by the end of the month, AG#5 is still, being the most landrace, slow to ripen.
Sampled a bit of the clean parts of the rot cut, grassy as it was a quick 6 day dry, not cured, I can tell it needs a bit more, hits home but not a lot of head yet.
Lopped off pretty much all the main kolas off AG#1, rot, rot & more rot was about to compost the whole thing this week, secondary buds seem ok as often seems to be the case in these situations.
Just waiting for AG#5 to finish to final cut on the plus side it has naturally dropped most of the fans so in the end will be much less a pain to final trim, as this point it may run into November, I'm in no rush just want it plenty ripe.
Going to cut AG#1 & 4 next Friday, driving #5 into November as I think it needs several weeks more, sadly found a rot kola on AG#4 & chopped it, I don't think this pheno is very mold resistant as I have been really keeping an eye on the RH more than ever on this grow.
vaped some of the cut that had a chance to cure a bit & it tasted good & was pretty strong.
