As usual I started my seed in my tiny transplant bag with the bottom half being seed starter mix and the top half being promix with no food with mycorrhizea mixed in. I seeded this Friday afternoon around 5pm and she broke ground early Monday morning which is right in my 2 to 3 day average for germination.
This week I transplanted into a 1 gallon transplant bag because I had a root poking out of the bottom already. I pre mix my soil and then cut the top of the small transplant bag off and then planted. Definitely got a good first week in hopefully we will see some good plant growth this week.
This week I transplanted the express into its final home. I just dug some soil out of my bin, mixed in some food and planted the entire transplante bag. Other then that it was a strait forward week. Next week I will start done lst and then it will be on to the stretch. Till next week
This week is when all the fun begins and that's why I started holding the top down. I usually just bend the top over enough to let the side branches catch up and make a canopy. Hopefully next week she will have a good canopy and then stretch. Till next week
Another week of leaf tucking and watching her stretch. Other then that I haven't been doing much accept for watering. I have a feeling this one is going to stretch and give me some beautiful flowers. Till next week
This week I just kept up with leaf tucking so she could make a nice canopy. I am really happy with how she is growing and should stretch a bit more. Can't wait to smell the terpenes on this plant. Till next week
This week was another week of tucking leaves and this plant made a nice canopy. Now that I have a nice canopy I hope I can get some fat buds to fill the canopy. Also looking forward to the terpenes! Till next week
This week she surprised me with how well she stacked out and with how far the buds went down. This plant should fill in nicely over the next 4 weeks and it's already getting frosty. No smell yet as I wait for the terpenes to start smelling nice. I just focused on leaf tucking and sticking to my every 2 day water schedule. Till next week!
This week I got some defoliation done to open up the bud sites but with autos I try not to do it unless I need to. Every couple of days I take 10 to 15 so I don't stress the plant out. Other then that she is drinking a gallon and a half every 2 days and smelling like pinene already. Looking forward to seeing your she finishes till next week
This week I was defoliating and watering and watching her get thick. I'm really loving how this plant is turning out and I have another 2 weeks. Looking forward to seeing how she finishes. She is already smelling like gas and pine and should be some great smoke. Till next week
This week I didn't do much except water and defoliate a hand full of leaves. I usually don't defoliate much but this plant is bushy! She is starting to smell of some earthy , piney , mixed with some lemon with a hint of vanilla. This is going to be some good smoke and definitely some of my favorite terpenes yet. Till next week!
Another 3 weeks have gone by and it's time for another harvest. This plant became a bushy very quickly and I was defoliateing way more then I usually do. Overall it was a pretty easy grow and my living soil took her strait through flower and the leaves had a nice fade on them. I am trying something new this time and I have placed the plant in my dry tent but in the pot and I am going to do 3 days in the dry tent before I cut it to see if it helps with drying. I'm not doing this because I think it produces more trichomes it's more of a pre dry period. She ended up smelling very strong of pine and lemon with a hint of vinnilla. Super happy with how she bulked out now to get her dry and cured so I can smoke it. Till next harvest!
EdIt: I did the 72 hours of darkness for the first time and didn't see any change in trichomes but I feel is a great pre dry. I just let the plant get super dry in my dry tent and then I harvested. If I see no difference I will go back to how I was doing it before.
