GREEN_GOD Paper towel is proving once again that it is a reliable method of germinating your seeds. This time I started by just placing 2 or 3 seeds on a moisturized piece of paper towel and then covering the seeds with another piece a moisturized paper towel. Unlike last time, I did not directly cover the paper towel with a bowl, as I thought that it wasn't necessary. Well, I was wrong. The seeds took longer to germinate (about a whole week) instead of the regular 2 to 3 days. I got fed up as I wanted to plant the seeds and start growing, so after 5 or 6 days I covered the paper towel with a bowl, as I used to do on my previous runs. After 2 days the seeds were fully germinated...
In the meantime, when the seeds were starting to germinate, I prepared the growing medium. I used a mixture consisting of 50% regular soil, 30% Coco Coir and 20% Perlite. These 3 ingredients created a nice, airy growing medium. When the seeds were ready, I planted 4 of the 5 germinated seeds (I lost one of them) in the mixture and placed the bags in a decently lit space in my growtent outdoors. I watered the soil, making sure it was wet enough (I am using growbags (RQS), so if I overwater my plants the water will spill out from the bottom, making sure I don't kill the plants). Now it's waiting time for the first green sprout to appear...

GREEN_GOD Hi guys.
I am back with a new growth update. I try to place the updates on a consistent basis. Saturday is the day that I have the most free time available, so I am trying to make sure I can upload the updates on time.
Weather & temperature
The weather was superb throughout the week. It was sunny and we did not have any rain this week. Temperatures outdoors were great as well, with it being average of 25°C outside. This meant that in the greenhouse were the plants were located, it was about 10 degrees higher than outdoors, which in turn meant that I needed to open the greenhouse windows to make sure enough cooler air was getting inside while the hot air was blowing out of the greenhouse.
During the week, I noticed that on one of the plants burn signs were developing. This meant two things: the temperature either was still too high in the greenhouse, or the plants was starting to burn up for being in the direct sun too much. I opened the door of the greenhouse as well during the day to let the air temperature cool down even further. This seemed to work as the burning signs stopped progressing.
The current temperatures during the night are about 12 - 15 °C, which is decent.
Watering
I did not water the plants during the week, as the soil was still wet. I will water sometime in the next week.
Light
Currently, the plants are getting about 10 -12 hours of direct sunlight a day. This probably is more than enough.
Sprouting
One of the 4 plants that I planted did not sprout. This meant I know had a growing bag with perfectly good growing medium to spare. Today I placed one of my germinated seeds in the bag (I always make sure I have some spare germinated seeds in case things like this happen) and hopefully, it will sprout sometime in the next week, then making it 4 plants. As I want to grow 5 plants, and as my spare seeds are now used, I will germinate one more, prepare some more growing medium and hopefully plant the germinated seed in a growing bag the coming week.
