My first outdoor grow.
This is around week 9 of growth. I got these 2 clones from someone and grew them indoors for about a month or so before hardening them off.
They have been through plenty of training and topping and even more since this picture. As of 5 days ago they were nice and wide so I'm excited to see the growth since the.
I have done a great deal to keep deer and bugs at bay. Neem oil, dog and human urine, dried blood, ground pepper and powdered, oregano, garlic and onion. The site is very difficult to access. Poison ivy, thorns, steep ravine and large logs to climb over. No paths there and I take different ways constantly, as well as through some fertilizer in my wake.
There's a small creek near by and a larger one it fees into about 75 yards away.
There's 3 bags of FFOF and 1 bag happy frog between the 2 holes, with amino acids and great white mixed in as well as some water polymer crystals.
A quick check up and they're doing well. Some growth so that's a good sign.
Some little bastard animal (mole I assume) made a few holes around my girls. I made sure to put some fluid in them as I was peeing. Then stuffed them with rocks, dirt and a thick branch. Hopefully they're not too interested and I don't have an animal having a root party
All is well, plants are vigorous with no pests or deer issues. They grow more then a few inches every time I visit. The wowzers is officially a bush now IMO. She's a better grower overall and gets a bit more light.
I'm prepping another site for a 10 week old barneys farm blueberry cheese that's close by and even harder to get to. The soil was a huge pain in the ass getting it there. I need 1 more bag and a small pick axe, as the native soil is very hard and dry. This is a South facing spot so she will get all day sun. I'm not a fan of the soil, so I will be digging a larger hole and will put 2 bags of ocean forrest and 1 bag of happy frog in it for the 1 plant. It is currently in 5 gallons of coco so I will be keeping a close eye for a while until roots establish. I plan to plant before or during a rain. Fingers crossed she takes well and the coco doesn't dry out too quick.
Growing like crazy. These pictures are actually last week. Thats a 4 foot pile for reference, they are now closer to 5 feet. I wish I could have growth like this indoors. By August they will definitely be over my head.
Growing like a weed..... up to my chin now and I'm about 5'11"
I feel I'm going to have to add some serious reinforcement to these branches.
The blueberry cheese has some heat stress as it's out in the sun all day, also s9me twisted growth I've never saw before.
Groing strong, looking as if they are thinking of flowering. I'll be interested to see these girls stretch.
My buddy next to them is just over 6' 4". Pictures just don't do justice.
