Both seeds popped after a couple of days and seem to be growing strong and healthy. Slowly upping water intake and introducing Recharge to both.

I'm at the start of week 3, should I crank my light up to 100% or give it another week?

To much light is a major part of the Bro Science, your plants can handle whatever you throw at them as long as your environment is on point, if your VPD is on, your, soil temp, and feed, your plants will take as much PPFD and DLI as you can put out...I guarantee you that your light isn't anywhere near as strong as mine and walk the light to them 100% from seedling and they love every bit of it...So keep your temp, humidity and other parameters in check and crank that light up, you'll thank me in the end

Plants doubled in size from last week with a lot of new veg growth. Continuing on LST even though it's making me nervous as a first timer thinking I'm going to hurt the plants, they seem to be doing well. Pictures are Day 21

Photos are from day 29, Another good week of growth. Staying on top of the LST pretty much every day (feel like I'm starting to finally grasp the whole concept). Started some defoliation to some of the big fan leaves that were blocking the lower branches light. Having some trouble with my humidity getting high when my lights go off. But just got a little dehumidifier and timer to run it when my lights are off just have to figure out how to set up the timer.

Another solid week of growth. Plants have switched to flower and have shot out a bunch of white hairs in the past week. Hoping they start growing taller soon, hoping I've been doing everything right so far. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Again another good week of growth, no real hiccups everything has been going fairly smooth up until this point except for a few minor F* up's. Plants are currently at 13" & 14"and still growing, was hoping they would get taller but that could've been one of my F* up's. I think I either didn't pack enough soil in my pots in the beginning to allow for more root growth. I just kind of lightly filled it up, bc my soil line is half way down my pot now. Or I'm thinking I let my soil dry up too much before each watering, Or could be a combination of both. Either way it's my first grow and happy with how it's going, learn through trial and error and try again.

Plants seem to be budding well. My plant on the left GD1 is a couple inches shorter than GD2 but seems to be producing much denser buds. It was an experiment for my first grow, GD1 is just soil and Grow Dots and GD2 is a super soil with Natures Living Soil on the bottom 1/3 of the pot and the top 2/3 with soil and Grow Dots. Also realized another F* up this past week, was watering with recharge every watering and was only supposed to be once a week. So since then they've been getting strait water. Already anxious for these to finish and start my next grow and implement new methods and techniques for better yeilds.

Another solid week of budding. GD1 is looking to be a short but stocky/chunky plant. GD2 seems to be maturing faster much more orange hairs on it but buds are less dense. I'm gonna go ahead and say these have a couple more weeks left to go before they get chopped, but waiting for my digital microscope to come in the mail so I can check my trichomes.

Everything was going smooth this week up until about half way through and noticed one of my plants had a nutrient deficiency. Upon further investigation/research I found out it was a CalMag deficiency. I should've taken more notes with my growdot research it turns out they fade out after week 8 so it would only make sense some kinda deficiency would pop up. Too close to flower to try and fix it with amendments so just gonna give her straight water until it's time to chop. Someone had recommended Epsom salt and water a few days after the fact but being a new grower just gonna let it go and make a mental note of it for next grow.

Overall everything went pretty well throughout the grow. Definitely made some rookie mistakes and errors but made notes of them to correct for the next grow. As of 08/12/2023 the buds have been drying for 5 days now, stems are still bendable. After buds are done drying I'm going to dry trim them and put them in Grove Bags to cure. Ended up with: Plant 1 - 42 grams of bud Plant 2 - 50 grams of bud Shake - 60 grams Total - 152 grams

Overall this Mephisto Double Grape strain seemed like a fairly easy grow for beginners. From seed I havested my plants at day 69 probably coulda been a few days sooner but I accidentally gave them more water. Grow Bible is a great site to track and keep track of your grows and the community is even better. From all the positive comments to the help you receive when asking questions is just amazing especially for a new grower who might not have all the knowledge most people do.
