Hot (boiling) water to expand pellet. (Cut 2 clear plastic bottles in half, use the bottom halves for the container and lid) Place pellet in one bottom half (container). Make a small hole about 4 mm deep and 2 mm wide in expanded peat. Place seed in hole while the pellet is still warm (not hot). Do not cover seed. Add water to the container to about 1/5th of the pellet. Cover with the other bottom half (lid). Leave in cool, dark area for ~2 days (until seedling is fully exposed and the top leaves are open). Move peat pellet to hydroponic bucket.
