Germination in closed container with fine moist soil @ 26C. Within 48Hours all 5 seeds germinated. Unfortunately they are a bit infected with spider mite in the 1st week. Treated them with A.R.T.S.
Hope will be better next week.
The Orange Dream shows some stress from the ARTS treatment. They don't seem to tolerate this very well. Hope they will recover from it in the next week because i have to treat them at least one more time with it to get rid of the spider mites.
Topped the plants this week altho they are still a bit slow and small compared to the other strain in this tent. They did not take the treatment with ARTS very well but at least the spider mite is gone now.
Will keep them in vegetation under the Spider Farmer G3000 for 2 more weeks. Had to remove the Gavita 1000watt HPS because it was to hot with the high summer temperatures outside. 😅
They are recovering well this week. Had a bit of a rough start due to spider mite infection in 1st week of germination. Treatment with ARTS Spired 1x a week did the job and they are growing nice now. Next week going into flowering. All good vibes now! 😊
Changed light to 12/12. They have grown a lot in the last week vegetation. With this rate they will end up at 60 to 80cm wich is ideal for this tent. I have added C-PK to stimulate the flowering process. All going nice and smooth here. 😊
2nd week of 12/12 and they had a big boost in growing. The 1st flowers are showing and did the defoliation this week. The are growing very nice! All happy the Peppi here 😆
Altho they are fully in flowering they have still grown quite a lot this week. I had only topped the biggest once during vegatation but that did not stop them from growing as tall as the ones i did not top.
They reall went from worst looking to best looking plants this round in my garden. Very happy with them now! 😍
Flowering in progress. They start to smell strong like oranges and the buds start to get covered in THC cristals. they finally stopped growing at about 90cm tall. Really happy with this strain! 😍😬😊
There are a few things we all know about the Dutch. 1st of all... they LOVE orange! This way you can spot them from miles away. 2nd is... they are pretty good in whatever they do and in some cases they are just absolutely brilliant. When it comes to cannabis, Holland was the 1st country to legalize the use of cannabis (1976) and therefore they are the pioneers in the growing industry. We have to admit that some countries did catch up with us by legalizing the use and production of cannabis (wich is still illegal in Holland) but they are still far ahead if it comes down to making quality feminized seeds.
So if you love the fruity Orange taste in cannabis there is practicallly only 1 place to go: Dutchfem Seeds! 👌👏💪
These guys are absolutley brilliant in making new strains and Orange Dream is by far my new favorite strain of all time.
They started of pretty bad, but are now the most beautiful plants in my garden and they smell like orange heaven. 😍😛😋
So if you want a proper orange smoke you either smoke Dutchfem Orange Dream or you visit a F1 race in Austria, Belgium or Zandvoort 😂
Buds are really getting hard now and covered in THC cristals. The scent is amazing and i cant wait to smoke this Orange Dream. For those who like fruity strains i can reall recommend this Orange Dream. 😊😋😛Very Happy Grower!
I love this strain more and more everytime i enter this growtent. What an amazing scent these plants have. It seems like these Orange Dreams smell more like oranges than oranges themselves 😜😝😂 I cant wait to smoke and taste them. 😍😋😊
Last week of flowering on water only. PH in grodan rockwool slabs is at 6,3 (input at 5,6) and rinsed them for 20 minutes untill EC of drainwater was at 0,2 (wich is the same as clean tabwater here. They smell amazing like fresh oranges. I think i will have a new favorite strain 😅😍😋
Last week of rinsing with water. The smell is amazing now. Pure orange juice. I will be happy to take my daily dose of Orange vitamins from these plants soon! If they taste as good as they smell this will be the fruitiest cannabis strain i have ever grown. 😍😋😊
The plants had a poor start due to spider mites and i was thinking to just cut them and start new ones. But after a week or 4 they really started to catch up with the other strains and finally they turned out to be the best plants this round. So happy i did not cut them after poor start.
