Germinated after 3 days. Kept under 24/7 light LED 15 watt bulp for first 2 weeks. Absolute minimum amount of water, rather keep soil complete dry with a water duster handy spraying soil top a couple of times a day when bulps dry surface up. NO nutrients required at this stage. Over the years I developed my own LST method, I never took it from someone else, though I will not discount the likelyhood of someone else out there doing exactly like I do. It has been how I have bred my plants for years and I don't think it will change, since I get a flat cannopy on a movable container ( reposition for Sun lights easily ) while still honoring the SoG angle. I only LST with wire and grill pins in the start, and move on to a 60x60 bamboo square that is attached to the 12 liter plastic box so it can be moved around and simply just tie down main branches and typically 5-6 side branches creating an octopus like branch formation. Its the first time I do this with an Auto, so its an experiment, but I can already see it grows fast so it will be fine. I don't do a lot in feeding my plants all kinds of things, I give them a PK booster when there is a month or so to go, and only some times I use normal general NKP grow boosters, but not always. Don't belive in over managing with nutrients and other things. I keep it simple and rely on light and a bit of water in general, I also don't water a lot, which is why my adult plants seldomly have illnesses of various kinds. I wonder what this Sweet Skunk Auto will yeild in the end, but I want to see if I can beat the average user out there with my own growing technic.

1 week old and doing OK. Had a bit of heat stress so only 1 of the main first leafs popped, unfortunate, but it's fine now. Recieves 24 hours light, whatever the sun gives and then under 25 watts led bulps for the night

Only pure water, no additives, and only very little, prefer dry soil over swampy pits of doom. Already started pinning down side branches and the main stem is already horizontal, and it will stay like that. Important to train the plant from the start, and continue to tighten up formation 1-2 times pr week. You can see it has a bit of a defficiency on this image, rust red marks, but they stopped appearing on those 2 sets of leafs after I just let the pot dry out really hard and only use very little water.

Progressing nicely, I keep it down with soft covered thread to expose a flat cannopy already. Added a tiny bit of NPK in 1 watering. The bucket has no drainage, you do not need drain holes if you don't overwater, so it is fine for someone like me.

4 weeks into Vegetation, looks good so far, very little watering needed, I prefer to keep soil dry to reduce issues. I removed like 5 leafs so far in total, large old leafs getting no light near the soil. At this point, I only added 1 watering with NPK, a normal dosis of the cheap stuff from the super market, and that was like a week ago. I can't stress how unimportant it is to overfeed and over water your plants. Multiple times have I made larger healthier plants with ultra little water, over someone with 5 grow boosters and moist soil. I simply dont belive in that stuff, its also prone to confuse people more than help. They need light and a bit of juice, not stand in a swamp in the shadows, then you ask for problems. The Bamboo "cage" is just shy of 60x60 cm, so it fits the 60x60 tent. I will stop LST once I reach width and length and instead intertwine branches for even cover, and then let them just go vertical from there. I detest xmas tree shaped plants :D

Week 5 tops out. Nothing much to report, I stopped LST as frame borders has been reached. I did defoliage it decently 3 days ago, took out some of the larger fan leafs that was sitting beneath the top cannopy and I had tucked away for a while. Gave it a micro dosis of 13/14 since preflowers has appeared, but it is still in veg, which usually always stops around week 6-7 when flowering takes over for reals. No real flowers yet, just white pistils. I also gave it a squeeze of the NPK from the local super market, all round furtilizer, plant seems to be happy over all. Continue to let the soil be fairly dry at all times to get oxygen down there, it will show if it needs water so that is easy to spot, I havent seen it tell me it needs water yet, so I am running it on the sweet spot, good well dry soil, minimal amount of water. No pests, no issues, it just grows. Gave it a full liter of water earlier today, that's the record amount and I might even give it a full liter again tomorrow, since this is the time in the plants phase where the roots are the most thirsty. Can see about 20-25 tops that sits on same level with direct access to the sun. It might mature to a higher amount over the next week, will have a look at that. I might look at tightening it up when it gets into the tent over night, but might first do it tomorrow, there is no stress on any accounts.

Week 6 is done! Plant, should be roughly 50% done before it gets cut down. It is extremely water demanding here in preflower, I have givevn it 4 liters of water today over 2 times, Last time just now, the pot was light and the soil was super dry :) I fed it this evening with NPK from supermarket, just filled the lid of the can and put into a 2 liter water bucket, same with the 13,14 PK treatment. Do not measure the amount, I just give it what the lid can hold, when I feel for it, today was a feel for it day :) Plant is still growing, but branches are hardening up, now it's mostly tops that makes new tops, you know how it goes. I counted losly all the tops that are directly exposed to the lights, meaning nothing above the top except air towards either sun or the LED light, depending on the position they get light from. 64 top shots was counted here after 6 weeks, 1 plant. I assume I will hit over 70 perhaps around 80 top shots that are directly lit by the light source when we move a couple of weeks down the pipeline, we will see. Otherwise? plant looks great! I just water it with water a lot these days, it's as you know, the climax of water comsumption right before real flower production starts, thats just how it is with these plants, so nothing new on that account. There is no deficiencies to any noticable degree, I have 1 or 2 leafs out of 1000 that has rust marks, and that is FINE. Pistils are starting to mature as expected, and I expect actual vegetation growth to somewhat stall "now" or this coming week. It's always week 7, these Autos "freeze" in size ~ In about 3 weeks I increase the PK 13:14 and give it a solid boost, then no more, then let it all taper of towards week 12 and attempt to kill the plant end week 12 with lack of water. I dont fancy curing a plant that has just sucked up an entire river of water and all kinds of crap, makes the coffee stick taste bad, and it takes a lot longer to cure if the stems are pumped with water. So what I usually do, is I run clean water in the bucket a week before I take plant down, and let it dry up completely on that load. The bucket has NO drain system, you dont need drain if you dont overwater your plants. Just look at mine, it is thriving very well. As for training LST goes, it's mostly complete, well today I bend down just 2 branches to expose more top shots directly to the sun, but its nothing like the start, the hard work is already done on the LST account, should also be clear on the images. From now till harvest, all I need to do, is tuck large leafs to lower locations and gradually expose more and more top shots directly to the light emitter, I do NOT pinch off the leafs at this point, nor will I later, except if they start to curl and die close to the flowers. I still have about 6-8 smaller branches I can lie down, which sits in the middle of the plant and on the edges which will expose more tops directly to the sun. The reason why I am focused on exposing as many tops to the sun as possible is that they will all, no matter where, if maturing correctly, become exactly same size. These cannabis flowers have a fixed size, so to speak, and if given direct light, they will grow to this size. The only reason you can have large candy floss sticks is because the flower units touches each other, there is no other reason, if a large candy floss stick was LST in flower, all the flowers would get air around them, grow a bit bigger. It should be logic, that flowers that gets direct sun grows larger than flowers that doesnt. So that is why I spend the last 6 weeks now, methodically spacing out all the tops in the area within the bamboo frame work, using string to tie things down, and tuck leafs. I need to do a final "big" tightening session, and from there its just tucking leafs and micro manage positions, I will do the big tightening session tomorrow. You cannot wait for ever to do it, mid preflower is "last chance" in my book, and that is now. Take care, and see you in a week!

Aaaaand week 7 is a wrap! Boy is things shaping up nicely or what, the plant is thriving very well. I gave it a PK 13/14 and NPK from supermarket boost yesterday, just a capsul of each, I dont measure it. Just put it into the tent for the night, it's been on the balcony all day, bit cloudy but it was nice :) Will get light and ventilated cool air all night, still going strong on 24 hours light, been on 24 light psycle since birth, and it looks like it likes it a lot. As I have noted on the first image, there are currently now around 86 top shots with direct access to the light source, Either Sun or the LED bulps at night time. I gave it a very mild Defoliage yesterday, basically just a leaf here and there that could not be tucked away but covered a but site, so I kept it mild, and still have some work to do, to tuck and remove a leaf here and there over the next weeks. But the main defoliage is done now. I took like 30-40 leafs out of 1000s so it's fine, it will not get stunned, it will move on nicely. Water wise? I still prefer to keep the 12 liter pot rather dry, When I put it in the tent here just a bit ago, it felt light, I want it to stand in the tent and lick the bottom of the bucket for the last drops in the deep before I give it 2 liters when I wake up in the morning. I will give it clean water in the morning, and do the same next time, then it will get a new PK booster, and I drop the NPK from now on, now I just focus on PK until week 9 is over or so ~ so in 2-3 weeks or something. This week 7 the vegitation really stalled as I thought it would, and now the nodes just keeps on stacking bud sites on top of the 86 node sites until that also stalls within a week or 2. Then comes the fun part, the reward show. They beef up :D So far I like working with this seed from Royal Queen Seeds, it looks like it's a fast grower and the yeild wont be low provided the flowers beef up like a normal plant, there is a crap ton of bud sites exposed directly to the sun, and there is quite some weeks to go before it gets chopped, so I can see it perform very well. We will see! Otherwise, I just tuck a leaf here and there each day, try expose bud sites daily and make the number climb, I have only done 1 branch LST in week 7, one in the middle I layed down to expose the bud sites directly to the light source and fill out some empty space. I dont like tall candy floss sticks, I prefer to lay them down so the bud sites grow next to eachother, I cant prevent it completely in this tent since space is fixed, but normally, I LST right into cutting plants, there are no sticks pointing to the sky when I got room to plan, I do that because I like many large flowers, I dont like long skinny popcorn christmas tree bushes. Have a nice one until week 8 is in the books! See you around <3

No news this week, just 5 branches LST and watering. I hung a salt bag in the tent when its in there over night and can get humidity down under 40% so that is fine. Else, its just waiting now, I did defoliage a handfull of leafs from the bottom. There is now 146 tops exposed directly to the light source.

@Hou_Stone, We will see! Going as planned so far :) This is my first ever Auto, I have normally only grown my own hybrid for many years, regulars, sativa dominant, black and purple flowers, extra ordinarily resistant to mold, and flowers early on the season. BUT! this year, I thought I wanted to try my Veg method on a single Auto, see how much I can squeeze out of the plant this way
