Germination
Germinated in a cup with alkaline 9.5ph water since I didn’t want to use tap water. All 5 tester seeds sprouted within 48hrs with a small visible taproot as early as 18hrs. Planted in a 6 cell seedling tray and covered with a plastic container to keep the humidity high. The light is about 10-12 inches away, I’ll progressively raise or lower according to how seedlings stretch. My goal is not let them stretch too much .

Light still at 25w, I’ve been lowering the light between 5-10inches to prevent it from stretching. So far they look well, I might be burning them because the tops looks kinda crinkly(heat intensity might be too high)

Transplant week, had the seedlings in 6 cell trays. Once I noticed the roots coming out the bottom I transplanted into solo cups. They were allowed to develop roots for 17 days before transplanting. I included some shots of the roots. I made sure not to water the day before transplanting in order to keep the root ball in tact, and it worked, they were easy to transplant this way. Also switched over to the 3x3 veg tent under 75w Diablo 200 light by HLG. I added a humidifier as well. My last few grows I didn’t include the humidifier and I noticed a lot of stretching and if I lowered the light the plants wouldn’t be able to handle the light intensity. 24hrs after using the humidifier I noticed a huge difference, I lowered the light on day 21. I’ll be keeping an eye out for burned tips, letting me know to raise the light.

Transplanted on day 33. Should’ve transplanted between week 3 & week 4. Ended up keeping 3/5 testers and the rest will get flipped to flower but they won’t get transplanted. Unless they’re female then I’ll flip back to flower to see how she deals with that type of stress

Moved 3 of the Boston cream cake plants into the flower tent, The two plants I hoped were female ended up being male. I removed and tossed the males out

Her fan leaves are getting frosty, not sure if it’s because of the 70f degree weather at night but she’s looking resinous for such an early stage of flowering (in my non professional opinion).
