I have no pictures before 4 weeks old.
Truth be told: She's growing outdoor. she has 15 hours of day light. 10 of them are direct light.
For a whole week, when she was just two weeks old, she went through 46cº (115Fº). She reacted like a champion and i was truly surprised. I honestly thought she was going to die... But she just got stronger.
Her first feed was when she was 5 days old. I gave her 0.6/L of Top Crop's rooter: Deeper Underground. I repeated the feed at day 9 and 15.
When she was 22 days old, She got 1ml/L of Top Veg, Green Explosion and Big One.
With 23 days old i started LST'ing and did the first spider-mite control with SMC (12.5ml/L) I used a master sprayer.
24 days old: I reinforced LST.
27days old: I foliar feeded 0.5ml/0.5L of Green Explosion and Big One. I normaly fed 1.5ml/L of Cal+Mag.
Now that the background is revealed, i can normaly continue my diary.
This weekly feed was when she was 30 days old.
I reinforced LST several times during the week. She's groing very vigorously.
Before the weekly feed, at the 5th week, when she was 27 days old, i fed 1.8ml/L of Big one and 1.1ml/L of Top Veg. Surprisingly she was hungry, presenting some signs of nitrogen deficiency.
At day 29, i sprayed anti-spidermite again.
At day 31 i had to use blue natural soap, mixed with water, to control the white fly population.
It seems that groing outdoor, is harder on plagues, but the plant itself is better prepared to resist and fight back.
I strongly Lst'ed again, through out the all week.
The temperatures rised again, so i had to adapt my favourite pot and transform it into an homemade Aero-Pot. It's good for the root sistem, so i really don't mind :)
The Colas are getting fat. Every single day is a surprise. I had a small PH flunctuation, from last week's Spidermite and white fly control. My PH was around 6.4 and i used 8.6 water to spray. I already washed the leaves and applied a new treatment.
Microvita was 1.5 grams.
I applied blue soap, to kill alot of bugs... from leaf miners, to thrips, white flies and spidermites... it's an heavyweight killer war. Not for the faitend hearted.
The smell is starting to be intense and noticable at 15 metres distance. Quite good for such a discrete plant.
I removed the LST wires, so she can freely finish flowering, in the next week. I'm afraid she won't get fat... My day time is almost as short as 11h... And It's not strong at all :(
At least, it's the smelliest Think Different i ever grew. Damn... I just hope the smoke is as good as the smell.
The pistils are 70% brown and curling. The trichomes are around 60% cloudy.
I will star flushing today. I will also partially defoliate her, to stress her a bit out. I want all those last cannabinnoids and terpenes. When the night falls, the humidity is also rising like hell... if i dont defoliate and harvest, there's a big chace i run into mold.
P.S.: I would love to post a picture of the 100x magnified trichomes but my camera sucks (-.-)
I started flushing and defoliated her. I will harvest in 5 days. I was expecting a longer flowering, so the colas would really fat up like usual with Think Different...
I'm sad and happy at the same time. It's like i'm going to lose a long time friend in 5 days, but at the same time, it's like there's another one coming, when i start drying the buds. Even though it's one of the smallest plants i've grown, in terms of buds(My previous small Think Different, ended up with 98g-3.5OZ, and the biggest with 350g-12.3OZ), it was also the one that got me back in sintony with the essence of growing. I wasn't looking for killer harvests or potency. Hell... I don't even smoke for months and i'm doing it outdoors, off-season! I'm growing this babe because growing is not only my hobby: it's my life passion. I grow hundreds of species in my land but this one is by far the love of my life.
To finish with respect and love, I will flush with 10L of PHed water everyday until harvest, to clean the nutrient excess. I'm keeping the vegetation mass to do edibles or a very small batch of ice hash... I still need to decide :D what a hard life, right!!?
It's always hard to chop one of these babes, but this one, will be almost torture... I just which i had pollen from a previous grow, so i could continue the lineage next year... with proper conditions.
