6/13/23 - Day 1 - I was starting with a seed, but its taking too long to germinate. I went down to my local show and picked up a clone. I'm excited to use this new Leaf growing box. I have done some successful growth in the past. This will be me revisiting what I learned on my first few grows and working with the Leaf device to hopefully have an easy way of growing my own buds in the future. I will keep her in Germination until the roots start to find the water. 6/15/23 - Day 3 - After having some issues with PH. For the nute bottle that is used on the installation I did not follow the guide, and there was a sticker I was supposed to remove. So it created some issues with suction. Got that resolved quickly. Did a water change. I'm using tap water for now ( I know I know this keeps me up at night ) it's only temporary until I get my RO water setup again. I need to buy some parts (to the membrane) and to be honest this box set me back enough $ cheese. I'm trying to get a harvest or two in before I spend any more money on it. I did find out that my tap water is EXTREMELY clean. testing at only 30PPM. I live right next to a water treatment facility so that could have something to do with it. Now there is copper and zinc and other things they add to the water. But let's see how this goes. One other thing I'm worried about is the heat. Where I live, it gets to be 114 sometimes. This LEAF unit is meant for up to 87 deg and this is in my garage. Its a finished garage but there is no AC. I am working on some modifications so I can vent the air. I've done this before, and it can be managed. So, I will be watching that as I go along. Germination Growing Conditions (Targets) Light Schedule: 18Hrs On / 6Hrs Off Air Temp: 79deg Humidity: 60% Water Temp: 65deg Light Intensity: 35% Desired Ph: 6.0 6/17/2023 - Day 5 - She is still looking sad. I have not moved her to check and see if the roots are growing through to the water yet. I will check today when the lights are on. I think shes not getting enough water yet because her roots have not grown enough yet. Waiting for her to take off! UPDATE: 6/17/2023 - Saw the first roots shoot out. There is an issue with my PH doser. The software seems to be dosing too much. DId a water change to bring the PH back into line. PH is sitting at 7. I want it to be at 6. So ill test the doser again to see if there is an issue with it. 6/20/2023 - Day 8 - Over the last couple of days a few things have been problematic, but fixed for the moment. The PH doser is having some issues. I was able to stop the PH doser for the time being and manually adjust the PH to 6.0 - 6.5. Some fixes on the software that manages the doser are in route. I have lots of Roots touching the water now. She does not look happy at the moment. (Still droopy, but that should start to change as her roots are starting to grow into the water. I'm thinking her drooping leaves might have been due to no roots being able to get water, and the water it could get to was out of PH. So just enough nutes were getting through to grow. She is on a Night cycle now, ill check her in the day and see if she's doing any better. It might take a couple of days. 6/21/2023 - Day 9 - The leaves are starting to uncurl; I think the leaves that were made while the PH was adjusting all over are just stunted for sure. The new leaves on top are growing faster, as are the roots. The roots are shooting out from all over and are finally touching the water with more than just one root. Im looking forward to the next couple days. She at the right height to be topped but I don't want to stunt her again so soon. Ill try and hold out as long as I can. 6/22/2023 - Day 10 - The new leaves coming out are looking good. I think she's on the way back from recovery. The roots are looking so good now. I'm struggling with topping right now. When to top? I would have already topped but the plant has not had a moment to recover. Im going to wait as long as I can to top. Hopefully I can hold out for a week or so. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

6/22/23 - Day 10 - Just started the 1st week of VEG. Had some issues with my growing setup. This is expected as the growing box is still being developed and this is my first time using this equipment. With the LEAF system the whole thought is. Put your plant in, spend 15-20 min a day at max and you can grow one plant in a perfect environment. It looks beautiful, it looks like a small refridgerator. Eventually, I will have full control of the software, right now the interface is through an IPhone app. I cannot make any changes to the system yet, but I have been working with the company to have them change the settings for me. They have been amazing to work with. Always responsive, you can tell this is a passion project for them. They have even responded and had chats with me as late as 11pm. The app I have basically lets you progress into the next stage (Gem, Veg, Flow, Drying), and it gives you a dashboard to see all the live info. The PH issues we had in the first week of getting my clone home and getting it a nice solid base to start, created some structural issues in the plant. PH being off is basically starving the plant of nutrients the plant needs to grow up healthy. I think the plant can come back from this for sure. She already has a really nice set of roots growing out and I expect over the next week for her to show some nice leaves. I am hoping to top the plant very soon. I have a limited amount of room for the plant to grow so I will need to top and Scrogg the biggest bush! 6/24/23 - Day 12 - I did a water change last night. I used RO water this time (PH 8, PPM 0). With the LEAF unit the water pumps out, its controlled by the app. It pumps out water twice; this is to ensure you can remove all the water without overflowing your bucket. After the water was pumped out I manually filled it with the RO water. There is a hose hook up so it will automatically bring in water but I have not hooked up my own RO water setup yet. (You could connect it to tap water, but I want to use RO for obvious reasons) It balanced nicely and I checked this morning and Shes is super happy. I'm looking forward to topping in a couple of days. She looks good after her sleep, Shes back up and I installed the SCROG net. I'm going to start the topping once the top grows a bit more. When I do top it I want there to be a little more stem so the cut is clean to avoid any issues. PH is dipping a little, but the graphs are showing it on the way back up a bit. So ill watch it but it is on the low end of what I would like to see. 6/25/23 - Day 13 - I gave her the Ol Topping this morning. I have pictures of the before and after. I was a little nervous about topping but I figured now is as good of time as any. Now its time to see how long she stunts. 6/26/23 - Day 14 - After the full growing day she looks good. I noticed a lot of growth on the leaves on the lower half after topping.... Makes sense. In the next couple of days ill keep some photos updated to see how fast she responds to the top. 6/27/23 - Day 15 - She is doing really well after the topping. Her leaves below are starting to grow, and you can now see the two new tops growing. She looks healthy and is growing so fast. 6/27/23 - Day 15 - We are on the third day after topping. She looks like her growth slowed for about half a day, but I feel like she's starting to take off. Her two branches on the top are shooting out nicely now. Now I wait at least a week before topping it again, possibly. Over the next few weeks in Veg, I'm going to start training her. 6/29/23 - Day 17 - After two days, the tops are growing nicely. The roots are pure white and are starting to wrap around all my gear in the tub. The leaves are super dark and look really lovely. So far, I have not had to do much with the LEAF system. It has been 15 min a day. Most of the time, I just want to see the progress. I check the water level even though the app will tell me when it's low, just because it is fun. There is a camera built in that will be enabled soon, I cannot wait for this to be accessible in the app. I'm struggling with when to start pruning, I don't want to stunt her growth. So, in the next few days I'm counting on picking a time by intuition. Ill update as usual. 6/30/23 - Day 18 - It's getting hot here now. Today was 104 Deg high. This box is in my garage, the high in my garage was 94Deg. It won't be as high in the garage as it is outside. But Everything seems to be working fine. I want to start pruning some leaf off, but I need to let some of the branches grow some more. As is her color is amazing, her growth is quick, and she has been drinking a ton of water. I have had to top off the water level every day so far. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. Looking good and I'm excited for the next couple of weeks! If you are looking for this experience check out https://www.getleaf.co/

7/7/23 - Day 25 - Another water coming up tomorrow. She looks great. She is drinking so much water I have to add a ton of water every morning. 7/8/23 - Day 26 - The root is MASSIVE. This is a great sign that the plant has been doing well. The thing that gets me is how white the roots are. It's looking good for bud sites on the plant too. She has a ton of Cola areas forming now. I tried to count but lost track around 15+ cola areas, so when we move to Flower, I bet this gal gives me a ton of big buds. 7/9/23 - Day 27 - Every day, I wake up and get excited to see how much bigger she has gotten. The growth has been crazy, I've grown weed in the past, but it has never gone this well. I honestly spend 15 min a day on it. With this LEAF system, it's been super easy. The proof is in the pudding with this unit. Easiest weed I've ever grown. 7/10/23 - Day 28 - The growth is not slowing down. I refilled 1" of water to the pot today. This is the most water I have seen used in a day. Ideally, we would want to flip flowering when the plant has hit 12in. We are cutting it really close, actually, we are beyond what's rated for height. I'm going to Scrogg them some more and I would imagine Ill flip them to flowering very soon. 7/11/23 - Day 29 - Moving the tops around a bit, I'm trying to let it go as long as I can before flipping to flower. 7/14/23 - Day 32 - Switched to flower today. It will get its first dose of 12 hrs. of daylight, 12 hrs. of dark. This will tell the plant to start budding. I'm excited to see the bud's form. So far everything with the Leaf system is going great. I'm excited to show the next few weeks as they happen! 7/16/23 - Day 34 - The plant is bushing out big now. It's getting tall. I'm a little worried we waited for a little too long, but who knows? We shall see. 7/20/23 - Day 38 - She is a few days into flower, and she is sprouting up like crazy. I bought another Scrogg net. I'm going to try and double Scrogg? is that a thing? Lol I just know that I need to keep these buds from hitting the lights. I think I'll be able to get all of this to work well, but I am nervous about the height. I can see some pistils starting to poke out! 7/21/23 - Day 39 - The lights turn off at 2am and back on at 2pm, so right now I'm waiting to open the box up for the day. But I was looking back at the pictures and trying not to freak out about how big she is (I'm worried about the lights, they don't move, and Shes is MASSIVE already) One thing I noticed about the pictures is that I have not had a single leaf turn yellow, or get spots, or have curling leaves, or have any issues with the plant. I would expect some sort of dying leave somewhere, but no. Not one single leaf has been less than perfect, I mean PERFECT. It seems like this LEAF growing box is literally the perfect environment. 7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. 7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. As always ill add some more pics as we go along. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

8/5/23 - Day 54 - Last night, a successful water change took place. I've attached a picture of the bucket at the top for reference. While I currently perform manual water changes, I have plans to automate the process using the available hookups. Unfortunately, the unit was shipped quickly, leaving me no time to set up the automatic system before receiving the LEAF box. However, on my next grow, I'll ensure the drain and water inlet are properly connected. During this current grow, the bucket you see at the top is always connected to the drain as a precautionary measure. I can activate the draining process through the app, and after two cycles, all the water, including the water collected by the dehumidifier, is efficiently removed. Following the draining process, I fill the box with RO water, and from there, the LEAF box takes over and automatically dispenses the necessary nutrients. This automated system has made the whole process incredibly easy, eliminating any guesswork. I simply empty and fill the water; everything else is expertly handled by the LEAF box. The flowering stage is progressing exceptionally well. The plant has ceased growing upward, and the buds are now thriving and reaching new heights each day. I find myself eagerly looking into the box daily, excited to witness the changes, especially around 2 pm when I can observe the growth since the morning. It feels like Christmas morning every day! As always, I'll keep adding daily pictures to document the incredible journey. 8/9/23 - Day 58 - It's been a few days since I have posted. Thats because Shes growing bud like crazy. You can see the plant has focused on growing the buds because the plant has stopped stretching up and started swelling the buds. We have about 3-4 weeks until harvest. This has been the easiest grow of my life. Basically, I add some water to top it off and that's about it. I have been moving some branches down as they start to get a little to close, but other than that not much input from me. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

8/14/23 - Day 62 - The buds are getting bigger and starting to connect. There are so many buds so close together that for sure these are bound to be big buds. I'm noticing the smell is starting to get stronger as well. The roots are still looking great. We did another water change today, a couple of days late. I just forgot to do it. There are some pictures in here of my RO Water Setup. I have a water hose that I hook to the RO unit, and then it passes a 1:1 ration of water to wastewater. Right now, it's all done manually by me, but I have plans to make it automatic. I had to throw this update in as I was sitting at my computer. I opened the door to where the box is, and my wife said, "WHOA..... things are going well in there, huh?". I was in the room doing some peaking in the box. I then closed the door and went inside. My wife yelled that out from the other room, triggered by using her nose..... lol So now I need to air the room out before I open the door to leave after visiting the box. Lol, I need an airlock of sorts! I actually have a carbon filter and inline fan I could hook up and run when I walk into the room. I can have it turn off after X number of minutes......Looks like another project! 8/15/23 - Quick update. Today is day 63! 8/16/23 - Day 64 - Overnight, she looks much bigger. The buds are looking like the Hulk right now. We're going to hit it with some more nutes these next couple of weeks. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

8/19/23 - Day 67 - Things are still looking good. We just had a water change. A couple more weeks! 8/21/23 - OK, ok ok, we have a lot of work coming up. Right now is like the calm before the storm. The storm I'm talking about is harvest, trimming, drying, and curing. This is the kind of labor that you LOVE to HATE. Especially with how many buds ill be pulling from this LEAF box. Let's talk about progress real fast. She is getting bulkier every day. Overnight she drank about 300+ ppm of nutes. She likes the nutes a lot. I'm taking this as a reason for all the little snowy crystals and the enlargement of the buds. Flushing: For about a week before harvest I will empty the water+Nutes and refill only with Water. We want the plant to suck up and replace all the nutes in the buds with water. This is called flushing. Trimming plans and Tools: When it's time to trim the plant, I've got a plan in mind. I'm going to trim the buds while they're still wet, and I'll leave them attached to the stems. To simplify the drying process, I will split the LEAF into two parts – the top and the bottom. Since space is a bit tight in the LEAF with this grow, I will keep just the buds on the branches. This will help the air circulate the buds better. I've even found this cool trimming tray on Amazon that I'm planning to use. I've realized that having the right tools for trimming is essential. Just like I'd put on gloves to work on a car, I will use nitrile gloves to keep things clean while trimming. And I'll use proper trimming scissors instead of regular ones. These scissors are designed for this job and should make the process much smoother. Amazon - Trimming Tray - (somewherr brand pictured above) Amazon - Nitrile Gloves Amazon - Trimming Scissors Drying Plans and Tools: Once I'm done trimming, it's time to dry the buds. I'm thinking of using simple tension rods, like those small shower curtain rods, to hang the branches. This way, I can create two levels inside the drying box. The lower part can rest on a SCROG net to ensure good airflow and even drying for all the branches. The LEAF box will handle the drying parameters. The environment inside the LEAF box will focus only on keeping the humidity at 60% and moving the air around getting the buds to a non-mildew amount of humidity. Amazon - Tension rods 16-28” Curing Plans and Tools After the buds are dry (60% humidity), the next step is curing. This means I'll be storing the buds in sealed glass jars. I've got mason jars and hygrometers to monitor humidity levels. Once the jars are filled with buds, I'll seal them and put them in an cool, dark spot. I plan to open the jars briefly every day to let in some fresh air. (15min). I'll know the curing is done when the humidity inside the jars stays around 62% during these "burps." That's when my perfectly cured buds will be ready to enjoy! Amazon - Hygrometer 12 Pack Target - 32oz Ball Mason Jars 12 Pack I use a smell-proof duffle bag. It has double zippers, and smell prof lining. The brand is www.420stock.com, and the model I use is the X-Large Trap Pax Duffle Bag. 8/23/23 - 20% more nutrients were added. She went from about 900 at the beginning of the week to about 330. Now she's back up to 500ppms. We change the water in one more day. 8/24/23 - Day 72 - It's official: I have moved the smell slider up! Holy shit, does it smell potent. I put my arm in there through the Weed forest, and when my arms came out, I was attacked by the Skunk BOSS. I had to shower and change my outfit to eliminate the smell. 8/25/23 - Day 73 - Another week down. We did a water change today. The buds are getting fatter and WAAAAAAY smellier. I have had a couple of times now where I lost a battle to the Skunk BOSS. I have had to reach in to move some buds around because they are too close to the light on some bud sites. You can see one of the buds up top, it has some white to it, I think that's due to being too close to the light. But once I move the buds around, I smell EXACTLY like a skunk. The smell is crazy strong. It's taking several full showers and it's still all over my fingers. Gloves will be an ABSOLUTE must when just reach in for a second. 8/28/23 - Day 76 - The buds are starting to grow even more, that the buds are growing buds out of them. That sounds weird but it's the only way to describe it. It looks like Romanesco. The buds are getting more dank, fatter, and more crystals are forming. 8/29/23 - Day 77 -I did some trimming today. I push some of the buds down and really got my arms in there today. All of the buds have gained so much mass to them when I squeeze them, they are really dense. I left a time laps video of me doing some late trimming, I was noticing some of the cannabis leaves were taking some of the light from the buds. 8/31/23 - Day 79 - The trichomes are still see-through and crystal clear. IM looking for a glossy-type look. My guess is still two/three weeks out. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

9/1/23 - Day 80 - Things are going well, the buds are growing everyday still. A couple more weeks! 9/3/23 - Day 82 - I snuck in about 1 min before the lights turned on. I got some cool shots up above. I also snuck in a cool photo from the base of the plant looking up. 9/5/23 - Day 84 - I took a few microscope shots of the THC. They are still very much see through so there is still a couple more weeks to go. I also got a mockup of the hanging system I will be using see pics above. 9/8/23 - Day 97 - Things are looking great! The buds are getting fatter. The smell is intensifying! Two more weeks, I would guess. THC is still see-through, with no cloudiness yet. Check out those latest pics. You can see how sugary and crystally they are. Any time I touch these things, It takes me a long time to get the smell off. I finally turned on the flash and got as close as possible with a camera, and they turned out great. 9/9/23 - Day 98 - Things are still looking good. I added some pictures of an inline fan I ran through my wall to vent some of the smell and heat from inside. I'm using a Vevor 4" inline fan with a Carbon Filter on the other end of it. 9/10/23 - Day 99 - The buds are getting fatter and fatter now. I'll scope them today when the lights go on to see how the trichomes look. We have another week or two maybe. It's getting close though! 9/13/23 - Day 103 - The plan is in place. The harvest date will be September 23rd. The buds are getting big and dense. They feel like little apples. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

9/16/23 - Day 106 - Today was the last day of nutes. Tomorrow I start my 6 day flush with just PH 6.1 water. This is the last step before the chop! I'll throw some pictures up tomorrow of the last water exchange. I'll take some videos of the process as well. 9/17/23 - Day 107 - I added a video uptop to show how a manual water change is completed. There are two options when you start your grow to either use a water hook up or add and remove water manually. I got the unit so quickly that I didn't have my water hook up ready. For the next grow it will be ready for automatic everything. Over the next 6 days I'm going to let her drink up as much water as she can then on the 23rd I will harvest and then hang them in the box to dry. 9/22/23 - Day 112 - I've been on vacation for the past week. I turned 40 on the 18th and I took the family to Disneyland. I've had someone managing the box for me in my absence. The box is so easy to use the person who is house sitting was able to keep the operation going. That's a great sign that anyone can do this. Tomorrow is the chop! I'm super excited! So far this week she has been taking in 2x the amount of water than normal. She's dying and she knows it! She still looks just as green, no welting. Looking good. Check out the photo up top. I just got home after a CRAZY long drive home. The plant still looks the same as far as color. I was expecting her to welt, and to have yellow leaves. But she looks like shes still doing good. This is nuts. Shes not really showing any signs of dying even though shes been in .7 ppm for over a week! I may let it go another day or two? Im not really sure, I'm in super unchartered territory, you're all going to learn this along with me. Ill post updates.

*Here is a link to video on the Harvest. https://youtu.be/aZUOrljaioc 9/23/23 - Day 114 - Today was going to be the Chop, but I will wait one more day. I was not able to dedicate the full time I needed to make this happen today, so I decided I would give it one more day. One thing I am noticing is the color of the leaves. I've always wanted to grow a strain that has purple in it, and it looks like this plant turned super purple. I couldn't tell because of the lights. 9/24/23 - Day 115 - I'm 2hrs away from chopping. With the Leaf box, you have to stay on your timeline, No rushing it, and no waiting. Always right on time. I started the grow at 3 pm 115 days ago so from 3 pm - 3 pm is a full 24/hrs. I'll update after 3 p.m. I already have my tripod, tools, cleaning materials, etc., up and ready. We will drain the water, ill then remove the roots and clean out the tub. Then, I'll start to remove the branches one at a time. Once they are removed, I will then get the hanging supports in place. Then I will hang them upside down and hope there is enough room. :) I've noticed I have a lot of views on this grow. One thing I feel I should do a better job of (based on all the messages I received) is documenting the process that I follow throughout the grow. So I'll start my next grow in November. I'll document it with better "this is how I do this in Leaf" type details. 2 hours and counting! See you at 3 PM! 9/24/23 - I started at 3 p.m. and finally finished around 9 p.m. Holy shit, am I tired...... I have a lot of pictures and videos to upload. I'll add some photos tonight with some videos to follow tomorrow. I don't know how much I have yet, I need to wait until I can jar them to weigh them. I was able to get all the buds off and hung. With a couple of bags of A/B stock (Snicklefritz) of leftovers that I didn't want to hang. In just the Snicklefritz, I had 219g of wet buds. Ill know the full dry amount in a couple of days. I was REALLY happy with the amount of buds. There were more than 75 branches of bud to hang/dry. Its the most weed I have grown ever. Now that the buds are all back in the box. The Leaf box will handle all of the drying process. It will maintain temperature as well as humidity. I now wait and check daily to check for dryness. Here is a link to video on the Harvest. https://youtu.be/aZUOrljaioc 9/26/23 - The buds are way more dry today. Im getting some really nice citrus smell from them. I think one more day should work before I start putting them in jars. I already trimmed them. Its a prefrence on trimming before/after drying. Becuase I had so much I wanted to make sure there was enough air space. This is my first grow in this box so this will be floor, theres no where to go but up from here. Im hoping to finish out this journal in September with a final weight.

I have had a blast growing this plant inside this LEAF unit. There was very little I had to do in order to have so much plant. I cannot wait to add another diary with some more grows. The smell of the plant is incredible and will only get better. The smoke is gentle, and it actually leaves a Minty feeling in your mouth, this was surprising but really cool given the name of the plant. I will start my next grow in November, be on the lookout for that journal. Final Dry bud weight 443g!
