zak13 Fourth plant, third autoflowering - Auto Bombshell, must be Indica-dominated hybrid. For this time must not repeat mistakes from the previous plants: over- and under- feading, watering, lighting, but keeping temperature not above 33C will be a challenge, taking into account that I want to add 2x60W LED light and already have 160W home LED and some strange 50W growlight (this one want to remove). Germinated for 2 days, planted into 0.5L cup bacause growbox as now occupied with end-of-flowering plant so at least for a weekeand the new one will be in temporary home, after that 10L fabric pot is expecting for new girl.

zak13 So, long story short, I decided to try coco! It was a spontaneous decision in some manner. The drama is, that in a 40x40x100cm box for some time will be 3 plants - 1 big and 2 small, and for some time, maybe even 2 plants with de facto no age difference. About the first you are reading now, another is Banana Frosting Fem in 15L soil. So hoping, I will find work, move into another apartment and buy another growbox sooner than those 2 monsters will rip off my current growbox. And a few hours ago transplanted from a 0.5L cup with soil and ceramsite as a drainage, into a 10L fabric pot. I think there is like 8L coco+vermiculite (75%-25%) with ceramsite drainage also. So will see, this grow must be something interesting. Added: to wash coco brick 2 time with 10L of clear water was enough, later watered with 1.5L of 1200ppm - Ca (added a bit too much, but coco is empty anyway) and Mg saltpeter and some MKP. Also about 15g of mycorrhiza ando a few grams of trichoderma.

zak13 Watered 2 times, every 3 days, 500 and 600ppm, addув Magnesium nitrate both times and Calcium nitrate last time. What surprised me is a speed of growth. And leaves size, I was always wondering how people could get such a big leaves, now wathcing it by myself. For now no training, but thinking about what to do next.Thinking about HST or topping, but this is auto, also cautios about not to over-LST, because made this mistake last time. Maybe will switch into watering every 2 days. For now, coco is just a miracle.

zak13 Watered 2 times - first time with a bit of Magnesium and Calcium nitrate and some MKP (800ppm total), but after that slight signs of nitrogen overdose became more visible so today gave just water with root stimulant and that's it (450ppm with the leftover of 900ppm). For one day reduced the amount of light to 8-15 kLux, because the girl was more wide than tall, but it was only for a day, now it's 25-40kLux. Also made some LST, bent the main stem using a safety pin and plastic tie, and another with binder clips. For me, it will be interesting to watch how this method of training works when the plant is growing really fast. It is not like using soil when everything is too slow, this time I'm surprised by growing speed.

zak13 In a photo you can see my growbox with an Auto GG on a bloom, this Auto Bombshell, and a small plant, grown from seed, that was found in a dealer's weed. So, watered only 2 times from the last report, and was even surprised of how light was a growbag this time. Ordinary, using some cheap 20-20-20 or 12-26-20 dry nutrients, but this time added some liquid nutrient "concentrate' that got as a bonus to a growbox. It has about 4000ppm so you can easily calculate how much of this thing I needed to make a 1.5L 700ppm solution😲. Simply, too much. But the medium was so dry that used another 0.75L of the solution to get at some drainage, but this time with my ordinary nutrients. ppm of leftover previous time was 1200ppm, this time the same, even a bit less, so happy to see that girl is eating. Glad that slight symptoms of nitrogen toxicity have passed. Also happy to see how fast the plant is growing now. Also, made some LST, as you can see, now I'm using only safety pins and plastic ties. Even broke two stems while training and last time successfully fixed it using isotape(a broken branch you can see in a photo), and also broke one today, but this time I'm more skeptical about the successful repair. Also thinking, not to train the plant more, because adding some vertical growth is crucial right now, and not much time for veg is left as it is auto strain, so time to add some height.

zak13 Flowering started the last week, and now is the llast possibility in this grow to add some height for plant. So, rised lamps a bit and turned off one 20W light, now plant gets 10-60kLux with averadge about 30kLux. One time watered with pure water and one time with 300ppm MKP with CalMag, and because of today there no signs of nitrogen overdose, today gave water with 500ppm of NPK 20-20-20. Plant streched a bit because of lack of light (now it gets 80W of 3000k and some light from 50W fitolamp), but internodal space is a bit too much. Anyway, I'm very happy with this grow at the moment, coco is a thing.

zak13 Flowering is in very active development, and suddenly appeared, that internodal space is ok, there must be even a bit not enough space for buds. Fixed some Mg deficiency, gave some water to make plant use some Nitrogen that plant is storing because leaves are a bit too dark and N is a mobile element so it can be transferred from another part of the plant. But the main problem is a bud rot in my auto GG that was placed in the same growbox and very close to this plant! So placed back 2 computer coolers, and removed GG from the tent to finish it outside the box. But Suddenly made a bad discovery - something like a stem rot in the bottom of GG, stems looking dark yellow and sick, the same found in Bombshell. A few stems had the same dark yellow color and became thin and dry. So removed a few small sick stems, but left one a bit sick but really great one. It looks like this stem will make another few sick also, because the sick area is very close to the stem base, but for now, the leaves and buds on this sick stem look very nice and healthy, so will see. Also made some small improvements like distributing light inside a box more equally, raised lamps, added 20w lamp at the bottom of plant, removed 50w phytolapm outside a tent for a GG, so the temperature inside a box is now a bit less. Was surprised, that for 8L of the medium, the plant used almost 1.5L water a day, means that to get some water leftover, adding 1.2L of water the next day is not enough, however, the weight of grow pot is a bit too much to add water every day. Discovered that this strain is fast flowering, and this is nice! Less to worry about small sickness and also tired of fan noise in the room. Also was worried about some purple stems in a top leaves. That appeared to be ok for this strain and because a lot of light that these leaves get.

zak13 Saw some amber on the buds, so harvest will be soon!!! So accidentally I got another two discoveries - fast-flowering and low-smelling strains. My growbox is 40x40x100cm. 20cm - is light + 20cm growpot with coco, and 15 cm to get some space to the light. So for the plant is only apr. 45cm of height. So veg period can be fast, not like in the case of a big growpot and growbox. And there is really no sense in long flowering. So in my case, fast-flowering strain really is a thing. Another problem is noise, so an interesting variant for a future grow is to have low-smelling strain and simply totally quiet 1-2 computer 120mm fans for ventilation. But in case of smelling strain, there is a need for filter and apr. 35dB inline fan, which even at a lower speed is too loud to sleep with in the same room without some ear-protection. About feeding - fed 2 or 3 times with 500-600ppm, but the plant seemed hungry - lighter leaves, lower leaves had become yellow, Mg deficiency because of typical light spots, so I decided that plant got a nutrient lock. So, flushed and next time gave clean water, then 500ppm - clean water (<100ppm) - 800ppm and today will give clean water to get rid of Nitrogen. Because the harvest is soon!!! Btw, the last 2 weeks watering every 36 hours - 3 * 0.75L and have 200-500mL of leftovers, preferring 12-26-20 nutrients and CalMag.
