Grapefruit+Gorilla Girl XL Auto

09/08: Will water both again today, the pistils are starting to ripen on the Grapefruit, it's EXTREMELY resiny but the buds are feeling nice and weighty. Certain the next grow will be better and deffo gonna invest in a dehumidifer next time, SCROG net and LST since I only have Sativa-dominant genetics left. I'm not sure what to do about these very late bottom node flowers, I might have to cut the top and then let the bottom finish? idk if you have advice pls let me know, I'm not stressed since it's my first proper grow but would like to learn for future. 13/08: 1st cut is done on the Grapefruit, I'll supply a review and smoke report once the second cut is finished. The trichs were 90% milky/cloudy and about 10% amber, really don't care bout the "amber trich" myth since that's for more longer flowering Hazes and Sativa strains and NOT common on Hybrids. The pistils on the buds harvested were about 50-70% orange, was somewhat forced to do a first cut cuz the GGXL is finishing up and I can't be without space anymore. Hopefully drying is quick, no batteries so est 30g wet (maybe 40-50?) so dunno about dry. Very FIRST strain and grow taken to semi-harvest, happy with the strain and genetics but definitely not something I'll grow again in the future, maybe very far into the future since electric is expensive... I'd say it's a 7/10, not great, not bad. Had some fuckups in the beginning, lack of nutes and soil etc that didn't help but overall an excellent strain for noobs, very forgiving with nutes, early stages, over/underwatering and so forth. Excited to see when the GG XL is finished, she's TALL and massive so hopefully she'll yield a lot more once done. 19/08: GG XL coming into start of week 10, end of 9. Buds are getting nice, very tall and busy, massive leaves. Moved the light up a bit further since she's looking a bit unhappy.
