Hmm. I may have sowed the seeds too shallow in the grow cube... I transplanted the seedling coming along the furthest to a pot to see how well she would progress. Still slow, and mutated too...
I have some extra seeds fortunately. I'll start over if I have to lol.
I have good news and bad news.
Bad News: One of the seedlings died.
Good news: I germinated a few more and they look pretty good so far. All of these seedlings start out looking a bit odd, but the initial plant seemed to grow out of it fine. I expect the same from these new seedlings.
It's been a good week for growth. The new seedlings are progressing faster than I imagined. They haven't completely grown out of their weirdness, but time will tell. I'll have to transplant them to 3 gallon pots by next week.
I've topped all but one of the ladies. The last one needs to grow a couple nodes.
All the ladies are transplanted and topped with a bit of defoliation this week. The transplanted ladies experienced a bit of transplant shock, but they're recovering pretty well.
Next week we're flipping to 12/12 and starting flowering.
Switched to 12/12 this week to transition the ladies to flower. Then bumped up their feed to a full dose. Growth has been great this week, with little to no issues.
Flower time! Buds are forming and pistils have appeared this week. Since this is my first time growing this cultivar, I'm not sure how big the stretch will be. There not much space in this 3x3 at the moment.
I'll start adding some bloom nutrients next week.
Another round of defoliation. Not much to report this week. They have started to smell a bit now and it's great. I cranked the light intensity to max. Hopefully we're smooth sailing from here.
Even brushing against these ladies will give off a sharp lemon like smell. It's great. The colas have definitely gotten thicker over the week as well. Giving them a break this week and will defoliate them again next week.
Some of these ladies are smaller than the reported size, but they're still mighty.
I still have some time to go before harvest, but I don't mind; The colas get thicker by the day.
Not much to report here. The temperature here will be pretty high this week. The temperature in the tent can easily reach 100f. I'll try my best to keep the temps to 80f.
So far so good. It looks like these ladies have a few more weeks left. The trichromes are still clear on a lot of the buds, but there's a ton of amber ones on the sugar leaves.
Very easy to harvest to my surprise. The buds were thick and dense to my surprise. Sure I've been looking at them on their stalks this whole time, but trimming them off and holding it in your hand is a different experience. Can't wait to try this out once it's cured.
