German balkony 2023 2nd run

GermanGrow182 Heavy setback: sciarid larvae (fungus gnat larvae) have eaten half of the seedlings. Only the pots with new potting soil were spared. These gnats lay their eggs in moist substrate and the larvae eat seedlings and young root shoots... classic bad luck.. I'm now changing the soil and starting for the third time this season. The time window for automatics is still big enough 🙂 Giving up is not an option.

GermanGrow182 A little hailstorm again... this time no major damage, 2 fat banana Autos lost one leaf each. Everything else is good. Creamatic is growing slowly. One of the two orions is really taking off... I'm excited about this pheno...😄

GermanGrow182 Top weather, just plenty of sun. Orion really knows what it's doing. I've never seen an auto grow this fast. It's going to be huge. The living dead creamatic and Orion 2 haven't grown and are standing as a reminder in the corner...

GermanGrow182 Orion f1 grows fast. Very fast. It's 60% larger than the bananas of the same age... doing well so far. The two larger bananas are growing like the ones from the first run, the late bloomer is half the size but it's growing.

GermanGrow182 The weather was changeable, relatively a lot of rain. They had no problem with it and are growing. Orion is taking off like a rocket 🚀. 2 Bananas are keeping up, one is lagging behind. Orion f1 No.2 and a cream are dead. No growth. So the diary continues with 4 plants. Until next week ✌️

GermanGrow182 Everything's going great. 2 fat bananas are off to a very good start. I defoliated them so they get sunlight in the right spots during flowering and stay well-ventilated. In the pictures, they still have leaves. Orion is continuing her turbo thing, I'm feeding her more now. She wants it, and I believe she needs it with that growth. GermanGrow182 6 out of 7 days of rain... They have no problem with it and are happily growing into flowering. Orion already smells very pleasantly spicy. The two big bananas are looking great, the smaller one isn't flowering yet. The special queen is a nice example of combining HST and LST, I forgot to mention her in the 1st run post... she still has a few weeks to grow before going into flowering. It's all good. GermanGrow182 Good weather, good week, everyone is diligently forming buds. Orion should be done soon. The buds are getting denser, trichomes 90% milky, 8% clear, 2% amber. The 2 big fat banana Autos tend to foxtail, but they have a lot of flower spots for that. It's going well 👍, see you next week!

GermanGrow182 Bad weather, just rain and cool temperatures 12-17°C, I brought Orion inside for 3 days so the dense buds wouldn't soak up too much moisture. It worked. Today she will be harvested. The banana 2 had some powdery mildew in a few spots. I removed those and defoliated inside for better airflow. It's going well. Fat banana is getting really big. See you next week ✌️

GermanGrow182 Stable result, will yield about 20 g dry, that's good for 11 weeks. Outdoor! Thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for the tester 🙏 but I've experienced better automatics outdoors. Let's see how the smoke is...

GermanGrow182 Very good week. The weather is warm and sunny, unfortunately 3 days too late for fat banana Auto 2. It had powdery mildew in a few spots last week. After I removed those spots, everything was fine the next day. A day later, a third of the buds were affected and I had to do an emergency harvest. 178g = 2/3 ... lost a third. The fat banana Auto 1 has become too fat and had two spots with bud rot on day 82. Sunday it will also be harvested before there's too much loss again. It's dripping with resin... Fat banana Auto 3 now has space. It's just at the beginning of flowering, growing structurally very differently and has many small flowerspots. Also thinner branches than its sisters. It's progressing. A nice late summer now. It can stay like this until October. Until next week ✌️

GermanGrow182 On Monday, I harvested Fat Banana Auto 1 because it was ready, and last week after a lot of rain, mold started to appear. Good result. I'm satisfied. There were foxtailed buds, but big and plenty. The Fat Banana Auto 2, where one of the harvest masses fell victim to powdery mildew, still yielded 32g dry. Number three is flowering, but it seems to have some ruderalis influence in its genetics. Much thinner branches and leaves, small buds... Let's see where this ends up... it's still going well. GermanGrow182 Good weather, good week. It's going well. Everything is blooming. Sherbet Queen Auto is slowly nearing the end. The Banana is a mystery. Very thin, airy buds. I'm counting on a yield of about 5 g... the Banana 4 has survived and will definitely bring about a third of a gram... Kush is doing well with the flowering. It's going great. See you next week ✌️

GermanGrow182 It's autumn. 2 out of 5 days of rain, temperatures around 16°C during the day, about 7°C at night, and relatively many clouds. But she's pushing on. That's the sativa genes coming through, very long flowering time... I'll let her go as long as possible. The buds are a fluffy, resinous collection of foxtails, but they smell sweet and very banana-like. No problems with mold or mildew yet. It's going well. Until next week ✌️

GermanGrow182 Very good result. One lady took almost 6 weeks longer to mature, and all three results actually smell strongly of sweet banana 🍌 🍌 🍌. Quantity is okay. One with 44g dry I find impressive with foxtails. Next season strawberry. I want to stay away from the very different phenos of this strain for now. Did well outdoors, few problems with mold or mites. Mostly solid results when there are no problems until the end of veg. Good strain. Potency is top. First euphoric, then flattened.
