Join me on another run with Female Seeds Lemon Kush! I've previously grown this strain out but lost the plants due to PM. Let's see what we can do this time. Currently finished week 1 veg. Growing in FFOF soil, 3x Mars Hydro SP 250 lights. Running supplementary C02 currently at 1000ppm.
Into week 2 of flower! As you'll see in my Purple Bud diary, this plant and the Purple Bud were popped late into veg in my grow room just as an after thought. I knew I wouldnt have more than a week or two of veg time but wanted to toss them in the mix anyhow. No high hopes for this plant, but it's made significant strides so far! My experience with these genetics is that this is a vigorous, stretchy plant in flower - so I'm curious to see how it plays out after starting flower after almost no veg time. Join along!
So… I missed a lot of updates through flowering. Been to busy! Here we are just a week or so before harvest. Note: I popped this seed weeks into veg in my grow room, so this Lemon Kush was always destined to be a mini-plant. Despite that, we’ll come out with what looks like some nice dense buds nonetheless.
This Lemon Kush has an amazing herbal citrus aroma that you don’t find with a lot of modern hybrids. Very herbal and earthy. Can’t wait to harvest, dry, trim, and cure.

Lemon Kush is a classic! Great genetics. Pretty easy plant to grow. This was a tiny plant that only had a week or so of veg time, so expectations for yield were very low. End result is 7.5G dry weight, and buds have that classic pungent Lemon Kush aroma. Herbal and lemony.
Where did you get the Female Seeds LK?? I have that strain too from the same breeder but my seed was acquired back in 2011 as a freebe seed from from a seed purchase. I cracked that seed 2.5 years ago and have kept a mother since. It's not very potent. Thats the only knock i have about it, and it's a 9 to 10 week finish.
