Thanks for the advice on the high water TDS. I did end up finding out what the majority of the 500ppm is 45ppm of sodium, what kind of sodium I dont know - could be sodium chloride - and then 450ppm of sulfates, which is sulfur, so that might be good for the flowering stage.
@AutoflowersSucK, If you're on a city/municipal water supply they should have it listed online or somewhere, they are required to. Can be different from home to home if theres old pipes, but im working straight from the main tap. By the time i mix moderate dose nutrients im already sitting at 900-1000ppm.
@@TPYRD, I was pretty taken back by the high ppm of my tap water as well. Where i used to live we had soft water and it was less than 100ppm for sure. Thats cool that you had a analysis of the water to see exactly whats in it. I haven't done that here but i live right beside the rocky mountains so there's certainly calcium and magnesium. What else is anyone's guess. Maybe the city website has a break down somewhere. I'll have to take a look.
