So here is the story of a little auto that could. I didn’t start a diary right away because it was questionable on survival! Started in April when it was warm, the. Super cold, snow, heat, rain, severe drought, and now she’s flowering a thriving! She’s in a 10 gallon pot with fox farm salamander and promix. Lots of cover crop— zinnia, marigold, pentunia, calendula, etc. guessing 4 more weeks until harvest. She’s a sticky monster!

So maybe another 2 weeks? She is super sticky, very beautiful and almost there. I’m getting a little concerned as humidity is super high right now. ✌️🏻💚

Chopping down soon after this. Chicago had a bad drought for a while and all of a sudden we got a ton of rain! This beautiful autoflower that was started in April, needed maybe another week to convert these cloudy trics to amber, but Mother Nature bested me again! Between the caterpillars coming soon, the rain, and the Japanese’s beetles, I got some bud rot! Been hot and humid with heavy rains in the past week and she was no chance— the bracts rotted from the inside out. Better to harvest now than risk losing anymore— update soon. 🤷‍♀️🏻🤦‍♀️🏻

So outdoors are always so tricky in Illinois. This plant started in mid April when it was warm, then super cold with snow, followed by moderate weather, to be harvested a touch early due to high humidity, drought—followed by days of lots of rain. She suffered bud rot on a few sites and was harvested immediately after to save the rest of the plant. Super frosty, great terps and she survived it all! Literally! Smells like fruit and dough.

You never know what Mother Nature will bring us unfortunately. Glad to see you were able to still save some of plant. Beautiful outdoor grow! Great job! 👏👍
