Okay I'm nearly at the end of week 5 with this tangilope. I was doing a bit of HST on them and accidentally topped one so then i thought I would fim one as well as HST all of them.
They'll all be going into followering 12/12 lighting tomorrow as i think these will take off.
I've had the pump on 15 mins about 5 times
in a 24hr period so the blocks arent
saturated and those roots go searching
Happy days so far. I love nft for the speed :-)
Day 34 5/10/18 changing lighting hours to 12/12. I've changed the water tank today and keeping it veg feed for the next 10-12 days when I should see a flower coming on
Tallest now 14" and the others around 9"

@@hydrohippy, Hahaha blow up 😂 ahhh see I couldn’t risk losing the lot 😂 good thing I like about the Dripper system is all I have to do is top the reservoir up once a week and let the girls grow. Just keep an eye on the ph and ec. But I get what your saying about the cleaning though, got to stay on top of that. I Will have to look into nft a bit more I think! 🙂

@Kiewil1, it is good when running correctly. If you get root problems the whole lot is wiped out...I don't like the dripper systems with pipes everywhere as you get scuz and salt build up inside and it's agro cleaning and replacing it...
Mg humdity is so high as a my bloody plants are like Jack and been stalk plants....plus there is 3 nft tanks full of water in the tent which really don't help....my dehumidifier guna blow up if it don't get a break lol

how long do you bubble the water before u use ph down and the nutrients? fuck me i have fungus everytime i add nutrients

@Reaper, At the end of the day ph down is only phosphoric acid so I don't think brands really matters. Do you rinse your clay pebbles before using them? The amount if shit you can wash off these is unreal, that could be the cause of cloudy water.
I only use canna aqua for recirculating systems. It could be the plagron food you're using??
Also airstones will throw out your ph massively.
The NFT system I use is a piece of piss to use, just fill it with water and feed and switch on the pump. Make sure your plants have plenty of roots and away you go....the nft system i use is made by nutriculture. Check em out.

@@hydrohippy, thanks im using ph down from (GHE) is that shite? i do seedlings now in dwc for weeks and everytime the water goes cloudy, no nutes just ph down and airstones, water goes cloudy and ph to 7.2 0.o im about to give up dwc but i neeed the yield for money

@Reaper,Hi I grow using nft tanks and not dwc but the principal of making up the nutrient solution should be the same. I never ph first as the food changes the ph hence doing after you mix up the feed. I've never used anything but canna food.
I use tap water straight away I don't bubble it for any length of time.
I fill tank with water then add nutrients A & B, let the pump mix it for half hour then ph it.
I ph it again the next day
If your water is getting to warm or your food is old it can go funny.
Ph'ing b4 u add nutrients shouldn't make it go scummy it would just throw your ph out when u add food after
