Party Weed - Booshberry

Time for the "Party Weed", the Booshberry. It's a cross of orange push pop and method OG. nicknamed the party weed due to all the colors in the finished flower. Was told it has some different growths with plants reaching WAY out there, it's a light eater, doesn't stretch much, and stinks the whole way through. I can tell ya I smell this little fucker already lol. Day 1- Starting this one off on a low dose of nutes while it settles in its new home. 5gal water 4mL FloraMicro 4mL FloraGrow 4mL FloraBloom RES totals - 310ppm @5.8 Day 2- little LST to start spreading it out some. Need more gardening wire ASAP to keep the shoots low for now. Trimmed the lower node off, and placed it in some mineral rich water under a light and dome to keep the strain going in my tent. Day 3- lil more LST using silicon coated small electronics wire cause I'm broke asf 🤣🤣. Really haven't had the time to get out and get some tbh.. it's like five bucks at lowes. Too busy cooking coke/lsd on Eclipse 🤣. Day 4- adjust LST and tied her down some more. So far just ph adjusting the RES and topping off if needed. Couple days and this cut is gonna start blowing up. Already stinks like it's in flower... this is gonna be fun

Party Weed week 2 Gave it a boost in nutrition yesterday. Currently sitting @510. Kinda slacking on this diary with daily updates... so far it's been hit with some LST, some HST supercropping and topping. Starting to stack up with tight internodes on the branches. Unsure of when I'll flip this plant, but I'm shooting for a half pound so we need a canopy. Day 13- a lil defol and another nutrient blast. Hit her with another 3mL each micro, grow and bloom. Haven't done a complete RES change/clean yet... going to hold off for now until we flip it unless problems arise.

Day 15- daily defol to uncover new nodes/internodes to keep them from stretching. She's growing FAST and hardening up just as quick. Can't bend her over like I want without breaking off limbs. May trigger a hormonal change here very soon, and prob mess up my 1/2lb goal. It's just too stiff to manipulate the way I want to without hurting end yields.

Where to start... things took a turn for the worse and I though I couldn't save her. Couldn't snap pics in her weakened state either. Was a sad sad sight. I even turned the light off for a few days preparing her for the very end.. went from doing great to completely fucked in 3 days time. Lost her color, downward curled leaves everywhere. Then I checked the drip ring. Sure as shit it wasn't dripping.. so this girl needed some O² in the root zone for sure. Dropped an air stone in the RES with the light on 50% for a few days and she's making a comeback. Soon as she told me she wasn't ready to die, I fixed the drip ring. Things are looking up. Trimmed her up on day whatever and plus one. Looking healthier by the day. Filling out and will need snips tomorrow for the energy wasters down low. Light back up to 80%.

Coming back strong.. flipped the light schedule on 8/6 and changed the formula in the RES for transition. Plucked some big fans off that were blocking lowers. Will be stripping all fans in two days, and a full strip 19 days after. Going in tonight and cutting some lower BS off so it can focus it's energy elsewhere. I should have vegged longer so I can reach that 1/2lb goal. The tent is nowhere near full, so I doubt I'll hit it this time. Will be saving a cut from this pheno to run again in the future. -Flower day 2 she's looking real happy this morning. has been drinking quite a bit and eating as well. was on a 2-2-2 formula, now on a 2-2-3 as of this mornings top off. the main stem is nearly an inch in diameter and growing holy fuck. will be stripping the big fans off tomorrow, and trimming some lower shit off. will have before/after pics F Day6 just noticed my nutrients changed from GHE to something else?? TF? General hydroponics flora series not even listed anymore? Ah well.. RES clean/change today. Prob shoulda stripped more fans the other day, but shit happens and we learn from it right??

Haven't really been updating much as traction is low and I keep hella notes upstairs and on paper. Flowers forming, slight stretch began days ago. Looking and smelling good. May need to hook up the external RES with how massive the root system has gotten. Main stem is over an inch thick. She's drinking ALLOT and eating well. F Day19 - RES clean/change. Mixed 3gal M-4.6ml/g G-4.6ml/g B-6.6ml/g PH'd to 6.2 since it's been dropping last few days on its own and needing adjustment. F Day23- stripping day... added a goodmorning vid of the Booshberry prior to stripping it. Will update post pics/vid this afternoon.

Coming up on the half way mark. Kinda slacking on this one, but ah well.. I'm sure 99% of the people here are too high to read this lol. F Day32- change RES and blend. Boost the bloom some more and backing off a little on the grow. If you followed 2 girls 1 cup, you know I got notes in head and on paper.

F Day35- This thing STINKS! Gonna need to double down on the scrubber.. cause it's only gonna get worse from this point on. F Day36- turning purple already.

Been slacking on the diary and the Booshberry. Haven't changed RES in like 2 weeks! Been topping off, adjusting PH (when needed) and giving her a nute boost occasionally. To deter deficiencies, she got a RES change this afternoon. Some yellowing on leaves from my lack of attention. She's getting more purple by the day, and will soon change completely. She's filling out and stacking up nicely. May not be massive buds, but the end results will not dissapoint. May end up getting 5-6oz off her, and I'm happy with that. Not the half lb I was shooting for, but that's my fault. She FUCKING STINKS!! Adding another scrubber to the exhaust to counteract the odor since one just ain't cutting it. F Day47- did I say she STINKS?!!!

Starting to fatten up with its homecoming stretch growth spurt initiated. Smells from the tent are out of this world. Two weeks left, then a flush

Moving right along, stacking up nicely. Color change is right around the corner. Right along with this one's glorious finish. Few weeks left on its life cycle.

Almost to the finish line on the Booshberry. It fkin stinks in the tent! Not the largest buds, but I did stress TF out of it late in Veg before transition. Finally got out the scope and there's quite a few amber up top, with mainly cloudy some turning yellow towards the mid. Cloudy all over though. Will be drilling it later and will add a vid of the carnage. With more starting to amber, I have decided to change out half the RES for plain PH water and split the stem on the Booshberry Thursday night. I will also add one more frozen 1L change out to keep roots cooler at the end here. Have already dimmed the lights a but to simulate fall
